Beyond the Gates star Jen Jacob celebrates birthday today

For Beyond the Gates, we are close to a very special date — the show’s premiere on February 24th. However, it is a very special day for one of the soap’s stars. Jen Jacob, who plays Ashley Morgan, is celebrating her birthday, and wishes are to be made.

Jen Jacob posted a special reel to her Instagram page today. It shows a little Jen blowing out candles on her birthday cake, making a wish, and then a slightly older Jen blowing out a candle at a restaurant with a plate of churros. Next, we see Jen in a car taking a call with a look of overwhelming happiness on her face; maybe this was the moment she received the call saying she had the role of Ashley Morgan in the new CBS show Beyond the Gates. From there, we see a headshot-style photo of Jen, one of many that would have been taken over the years and that showmakers and filmmakers have seen before casting Jen in their projects. The reel then has Jen parked outside a large wrought iron gate as she flicks her hair back. We are transported inside to a table with a little placard saying Ashely Morgan and Jen Jacob on it. We also see Jen's car park with a reserved for Jen Jacob sign on it.

It must be a very cool feeling to pull up at your reserved car park outside your place of work. High rolling now, Jen! Before the reel closes, we see some of Jen's previous work on The Caregiver.

Co-stars Mike Manning (Bradley “Smitty” Smith) wrote “Happiest birthday to you @jen.jacob 🎉” and Brandon Claybon (Martin Richardson) also commented, “Happy Birthday, Jen! 🎂🎂🎂” Executive Producer Sheila Ducksworth wrote “Happy Happy Birthday, Jen!
