Beyond the Gates spoilers for Monday, March 3rd: A shot at marriage, Leslie's secrets, Ashley and Andre bond

What to expect on Beyond the Gates

Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) has been unsure what to do about her career. She no longer wants to work with her mom, Dani (Karla Mosley), who is her modeling manager. But given everything going on in her mom’s life, she worried that if she quit working with her, then her mom might feel like everything had been taken away.

Chelsea has a new handbag line that she feels will be so successful, she’ll be a rival for the Kardashians. She also has a thriving online following. On Monday, Chelsea goes live. Is she ready to move on with her career without her mom’s knowledge?

Family Ties

Since we met Leslie (Trisha Mann) and her daughter, Eva (Ambyr Michelle), one secret after another has been revealed. Leslie is friends with Ashley Morgan’s (Jen Jacob) mom, Jan (Jerri Tubbs), although they apparently just recently met. She’s also gal pals with Mona (Karan Kendrick), who works for Nicole. And, it seems, Leslie was the one who ran Laura (Destiny Love) off the road, nearly killing her.

While Laura recuperates, Leslie managed to get Eva in for an interview to replace her as Nicole’s (Daphnée Duplaix) assistant at her home office. Leslie was thrilled when Eva landed the position. She told Eva that she was right where she belonged — in her father’s house. On Monday, Leslie reveals a secret about Eva. Is she going to tell Jan that Ted (Maurice Johnson) is Eva’s father? Or is she going to hit closer to home?

Teamwork makes the dreamwork

Ashley was just leaving work when Andre offered to walk her to her car. They stepped inside the elevator along with a pregnant woman. Before they could get to another floor, the elevator jerked roughly, and the lights flickered.

Ashley asked the woman if she was okay, but she had gone into labor. With the elevator stuck, Ashley and Andre have no choice but to team up to help the woman. Will they have to deliver a baby? Sharing an experience like that could bring Ashley and Andre closer — and she might see another side to him than the charming player she’s been warned about.

Shotgun wedding

It might not have been a shotgun, but that pistol Dani was waving didn’t mix well with wedded bliss. Did she shoot someone, miss her target, or just fantasize about it?

On Monday, Bill convinces Haley to persevere. Is she holding on for dear life, or does he want her to not give up on making all of her dreams come true in Fairmont Crest?
