What to expect on Beyond the Gates
On Beyond the Gates, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) was messaged by her husband Jacob (Jibre Hordges), to come down to the station. During a routine clean up of tent city (a homeless area) a social worker found what she thought was an unclaimed shopping cart full of stuff. The homeless woman who owned the shopping cart attacked the social worker and was arrested. She was scared and very defensive. Jacob encountered her as the arresting officer was bringing her into the station. Upon arrival Naomi was unsure whether she could help this woman as she openly said she wouldn't trust a lawyer as far as she could throw one. On Monday's episode, Naomi struggles to gain the trust of her new client. But trust her she must, as Naomi is her only shot at avoiding several months incarceration.
Home sweet home
After taking a compatibility test in a women's magazine, Derek (Ben Gavin) thinks it’s high time that he and Ashley (Jen Jacob) take their relationship to the next level. After fumbling the ball in trying to explain to Ashley that he wanted to spend his future with her and that they were so good together, Derek and Ashley finally settle on having Derek move into her place as he had roommates. On Monday's episode, Ashley and Derrek adjust to their new living arrangement. This already looks to be a testing time for the couple as they navigate having each other ALWAYS around and the lack of personal space.

Two more sleeps we were told, and it would be the time to party like it’s 1999, or at least have a few drinks and celebrate Ted (Maurice Johnson) and Nicole's (Daphnée Duplaix) wedding anniversary. This is what Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) has been waiting for, her moment to make sure that Ted cannot ignore her any further or deny his daughter Eva (Ambyr Michelle) that they had together all those years ago when they had an illicit affair. But there is still time to make things really uncomfortable for all concerned and on Monday's episode, Leslie launches her latest scheme against the Duprees. Is this because she caught Kat (Colby Muhammed) snooping at her house last week and Kat recognized her? No one will be unscathed in Leslies pursuit of vengeance.
