Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) has always forged her on way in this world, she went into modelling and made that super successful, she ran the Charity Board for the First Gen Charity and always made sure they were kept with a healthy amount of funds due to her efforts organizing events and this time will be no different. In Wednesday's episode, Dani chooses her own path. Kat (Colby Muhammed) wants her cousin Chelsea (Rhonnirose Mantilla) to consider making her mom the CMO of their newly formed company, but Dani has her own path ahead of her.

The clock is ticking and it’s getting closer and closer to the big anniversary bash. This promises to be quite the affair. Dangerous liaisons got us to this point and it looks like the unhinged Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) is set to drop the bombshell revelation that Ted (Maurice Johnson) isn't the perfect man Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) thinks he is. While Leslie has been out shopping for dresses for her and Eva (Ambyr Michelle) to attend the party, and of course a wig. Eva has been making all the arrangements for the Party. Ted has got to be worried that something is going to happen at the party and on Wednesday's episode, Ted urges Nicole to abandon their anniversary bash for a private getaway. Ted needs to confront this head on and not run, anywhere he and Nicole go, Leslie will be back in Fairmont Crest waiting for them. Will Ted come clean to Nicole if he can’t convince her to give up the party?

Doug’s hole just keeps getting deeper, moments after telling his friend Randy that he won't be returning to the casino tables, he had a surgery go poorly and he lost his patient on the operating table. This caused Doug in a moment of anger to smack his hand against the nurses station, breaking it. Joey paid Doug a visit at the hospital and told him that he had better find another way to be useful if he couldn't earn money, and that maybe his wife could help him in some way. Doug wants to do everything possible not to have to tell his wife that he has a gambling problem. In Wednesday's episode, Doug doubles down on a risky windfall. If this doesn't work, he will have no option but to come clean and ask for help.
