Doug (Jason Graham) got himself into some pretty hot water on Friday, first he told Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) to tell Joey (Jon Lindstrom) that he won't come back to tables, he’s out. Or so he thinks, After breaking his hand in a silly act of frustration, Joey cornered Doug in the hospital. Seeing Doug's hand in a cast presents a problem, but it’s Doug's problem. Joey is going to coerce Doug into getting Vanessa to launder money through her realty business, and if he doesn't play ball, his broken hand will be the least of his worries because on Monday's episode, Doug's hidden debt to Joey edges him into dangerous territory. One way or another Joey is going to put pressure on Doug to deliver, will the pressure break him?

Ted (Maurice Johnson) and Nicole’s (Daphnée Duplaix) anniversary bash is looming closer and closer and Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) is getting bolder and bolder in her actions towards making sure Ted’s perfect life gets blown up in the biggest way that she can. Fortunately, Eva (Ambyr Michelle) is appearing to be a little uncertain with just how far her mom is taking things. Already suspicious about whether her mom had anything to do with Laura's (Destiny Love) recent medical setbacks. Eva might be the only one who can put a stop to this, but will she? On Monday's episode Eva pours herself into orchestrating Ted and Nicole's upcoming celebration.

A family that sings together, stays together

Chelsea (Rhonnirose Mantilla) saw Anita (Tamara Tunie) looking wistful as she played the piano, the two talked about how it felt a lifetime ago that Anita was singing with the Articulates and heading gigs and singing to packed out arenas. Anita said she missed it terribly but loved her life as it was. Under the guise of getting the family together to bolster Dani’s (Karla Mosley) spirits, Anita organizes everyone to meet at uptown. Chelsea on the other hand has Dani onside to make it a fun night for Anita with singing and family. On Monday's episode, the family gets together for karaoke night. Will this be just the thing Anita needs to feel the vibe of singing on a stage again or will this get Anita more attention than she thought she wanted.
