Beyond the Gates spoilers April 14th: Kat's party stirs tensions and Dani can't let go of heartbreak

What to expect on Beyond the Gates

Monday’s episode launches us into birthday celebrations for Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammed), most of the family and friends are in attendance as is the man of the hour for Kat, Mr Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria). Tomas got the third degree from all the Males of the Dupree/Richardson families and had to defend his working relationship and feelings about working with Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durett). Tomas will be keen to put that behind him and enjoy celebrating with his girl. Will these feelings be brought up again? On Monday Kats birthday celebrations stir hidden tensions. This party will get lively for sure.

Hayley (Marquita Goings) hasn't had the easiest time of things in Fairmont Crest. Since Bill and Hayleys affair became public knowledge. Hayley has been slapped, punched, shot at and shunned. Last week they threw caution to the wind and the happy couple dined at the country club and ignored the looks as best they could and the sub par service directed at Hayley. Bill said everyone is just going to have to get used to seeing them making the most of their country club membership. To seal that decision the two kissed several times and enjoyed being together, possibly made the more enjoyable by Dani’s public firing from the charity board of First Gen. On Monday's episode, Bill and Hayley confront an unexpected turning point. Is the moment they have been waiting for? Maybe not acceptance but ambivalence, anything has to be better than how Hayely feels she had been treated.

Time is a great healer, Smirnoff is not.

Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) right from the first episode has worn her heart on her sleeve, she’s not been backwards at being forward in showing her emotions, from throwing coffee mugs, trashing offices the list goes on. The end of her marriage to Bill was rough, there's no doubt about that. Dani has turned to alcohol and her “friends with excellent benefits” relationship with Andre (Sean Freeman) to get her through the heart ache and feelings of being discarded and rejected. On Monday's episode, Dani struggles with heartbreak she can't quite leave behind. Does this mean more time spent with Smirnoff or Andre?
