What to expect on Beyond the Gates
Samantha (Najah Jackson) after catching the bug big time after her debut appearance at Chelsea's (Rhonnirose Mantilla) farewell fashion show has had a bee in her bonnet to become a model. This decision has caused friction at home, as Samantha chose to divide and conquer with Martin (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty (Mike Manning). Martin wasn’t having it and went to Dani (Karla Mosley) for advice. Consequently Martin went home and dashed Samantha's hopes of being a model. Samantha, being a teenager, went straight to her phone and called Chelsea and told her that her parents hadn't forbidden her to, so she was going to pursue modelling anyway. Chelsea must have said ok as Smanatha is all smiles now, but on Friday's episode Samantha's quest for a modelling manager, pits Dani against Chelsea.
You gotta know when to hold'em
Doug (Jason Graham) is in so deep with gambling debt at Joey’s (Jon Lindstrom) casino. So deep he even thinks he can “win” his way out and expects his luck to change any day now. Randy asked some pretty good questions of Doug and all that was said on the matter was it wasnt affecting his surgical duties. This is about to change, in Friday's episode, Doug's gambling habit jeopardizes his surgical duties. Whenever Doug needed to dip off to the casino for his fix, he would lie and say he was working on an AI machine for monitoring heart health. This device is in testing and makes a great scapegoat, but has Doug been caught out? Or as motivation to pay his debts, has Doug been injured by casino thugs? Those hands are precious to a surgeon.

Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson) has been plagued by Leslie or is it Dana? Or even Lulu? Or Sherry? This blast from the past wants to blow up the life of Ted and his wife Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) in the biggest way at their anniversary bash. All roads have been leading to this moment. Ted thinks and hopes that Leslie is gone now, after paying her 50 thousand dollars in cash, but Leslie won't be put off from her goal, the big reveal, that Ted isn’t the perfect loving husband that he appears to be. On Friday's episode, Ted wrestles with the affairs of his past. Does a confrontation between Ted and Leslie get physical?
