Beyond the Gates: Exclusive Early Screening in New York

Beyond the Gates will premiere on February 24th on CBS and Paramount+, but some lucky fans in New York City will get to see it four days early — and meet some of the stars from the show.

Beyond the Gates is the new groundbreaking show from CBS and this is your chance to be there not only from the start but before the premiere. Fortunate fans able to be in New York City on Thursday, February 20, 2025, will be treated to an exclusive screening of CBS’s Beyond the Gates four days before it airs.

To celebrate Black History Month, The Paley Museum, in association with Citi, is offering its members tickets for $24 and non-members for $30. The event starts at 6:30 PM on Thursday, February 20th, at The Paley Museum, located at 25 West 52 Street, NYC. Fans will have the chance to bring their friends and family together to support a good cause and see what will be their new favorite soap!

This one-hour daytime soap opera will be the first all-new soap on daytime television in 26 years. It will be set in a posh gated community in Maryland, one of the most affluent African American counties. The show will focus heavily on the Dupree family, a prestigious, well-known, and powerful multigenerational family. They are dripping in finery, befitting the title of Black Royalty.

Keeping to classic soap opera storylines, plenty of scandalous behavior, secrets, lies, and intrigue is just waiting to be discovered. After the premiere has been screened, guests will be able to hear from some of the show's actors. Tamara Tunie, who stars as Anita Dupree, Daphnée Duplaix, who plays Anita’s daughter, Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson, and Executive Producer Sheila Ducksworth, talk about the new series and will give the inside scoop on what it's like to live Beyond the Gates and bring the show to life.

BTG has been developed and produced by the CBS Studios/NAACP joint venture in partnership with P&G Studios, a Proctor and Gamble division. The joint venture of CBS Studios/NAACP was created to help bring to the fore the visibility of Black artists on broadcast and streaming platforms in the ever-changing and evolving media space.
