Fans love Cady McClain's Pamela Curtis on Beyond the Gates

On Beyond the Gates, Dani Dupree, is getting her shine back and it’s all with the help of her bestie Pamela Curtis, not only the friend Dani needs but the character fans want more of.

Cady McClain, plays Pamela Curtis, the self proclaimed “ride or die” of her best friend Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley). Pamela takes the role of ride or die seriously, She cut a trip short so that she could attend the wedding of Bill (Timon Kye Durett) and Hayley (Marquita Goings) so that she could support her friend. Dani had been unceremoniously dumped by Bill. Pamela told Dani, “I cut my trip short. You're my best friend. There's no way I'd let you face this night without being here in full support. How are you holding up?” I don't know if she just dropped the ball by not asking Dani if she was going to use Hayley as target practice at her wedding bit since then we haven't seen much of Pamela until now.

If you think you’ve seen Cady before, you’d be right. She is the proud winner of several awards including Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Performer & Young Actress and Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. McClain has been on All my Children in the role of Dixie Tooney and others but now has joined the cast of Beyond the Gates much to the delight of fans, her character moves in different circles but her ex husband Jon Lindstrom is also on set with her and as the hardened casino owner/gangster Joey Armstrong. It’s been great getting to see McClain back on daytime tv in a role that's perfect for her.

Dani has hit another low and had been turning to drink and dalliances to get through this rough patch and once again it’s Pamela to the rescue and it couldn't have come sooner for all of us. It’s hard watching Dani spiral and it’s times like that, that a real friend is just what you need. For the fans and viewers though, we have been awaiting another chance for Pamela to grace our screens. The stylish redhead is a take-charge no nonsense type and with her quick thinking she came up with “Operation Gemstone.” Together the two respective power houses are aiming to create their own modelling talent agency. The name of which was immediately changed to give Dani top billing, came as no surprise, Curtis-Dupree changed to Dupree-Curtis faster than a trademark Dupree finger snap.

Fans of Beyond the Gates, went to the Soap Central Message Boards to make it known that they love seeing Cady McClain on their screens and want more and more.
