Beyond the Gates' Vanessa McBride works hard but Lauren Buglioli just wants to play

Beyond the Gates, CBS’ new soapy daytime drama, will be premiering in less than a month. On the show, Vanessa McBride will be serving up the drama, but until then, her actor, Lauren Buglioli, has nothing but good vibes to share.

Actress Lauren Buglioli loves being creative, sharing love, and appreciating the opportunities brought her way. She shared on her Instagram some magical personal moments and experiences.

Lauren cuddled up with two dogs, both who seemed to gravitate to her energy. While one wanted some quiet affection, the other brought a toy in hopes of a play. Lauren got the dogs from LifeLine Animal Project

Working in Atlanta, which works “to end the euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals.”

In a cute video, the pair can be seen playing in the snow, wearing matching dog coats that she found at Target. “When i say “let’s rage”, i mean this. 👍serotonin brought to you by @lifelineanimal 🩷,” Lauren captioned the video.

In another, she highlighted other moments in life that bring her joy: Dancing in princess dresses, modelling, running through the script for the first time with the cast of Beyond the Gates, playing with her dogs, glimpses of friends and family, being at a concert.

“New year, same permission to PLAY,” Lauren captioned. She thanked everyone “including & especially the dogs” who had shared “their love and light” with her. The narration with the video gave the message, “If you’re going to be creative, you have to be in a state of play. You can’t play if you’re being careful. If you’re trying not to make mistakes, it destroys creativity completely because you could have a new idea. You can’t immediately say, “That’s a mistake,” until you’ve explored it.”

Being cast on Beyond the Gates

As for the show, Lauren also shared her reaction when she was cast. She asked her Instagram followers to listen to her, noting that “everything is possible” and then announced:

“Bursting and BEYOND grateful to be stepping into a series regular role (what is life?!) on Beyond The Gates, premiering on @cbstv in early 2025!” She thanked people from the show and others in her life to helped along the way and added, “And OOF… the way I wish I could hug my younger self and thank her for not giving up. It has been a RIDE🎢 and I won’t take a second of this for granted. Anything 👏🏽is 👏🏿possible👏🏼 Just. Keep. Going.”
