Here's what you missed on Beyond the Gates

On Beyond the Gates, Dani woke up from her drunken stupor on Bill's couch and recruited BFF Pamela to help her put The Hamiltons' living room back the way it was before Dani had gained access to it. However, Hayley noticed the differences and realized Dani had invaded her space. Hayley warned Dani not to try her again and threatened to file a restraining order against Dani if she didn't stay away.
Dani scored a coup by getting a gown once belonging to a first lady for Chelsea to model at a fashion show, but Chelsea had to feign enthusiasm about it. Kat counseled Chelsea that it would be harder for Chelsea to tell Dani she didn't want to model anymore the longer Chelsea waited, but Chelsea didn't want to rain on the parade of Dani's apparently better mood.
Dani nearly drank again but instead called Andre; instead of engaging in more hot sex, they cuddled. On Andre's next visit, he found Dani passed out next to a vodka bottle. Andre implored Nicole to be there for the lonely Dani, who was tempted by alcohol yet again but emptied her bottle in the sink.
Ashley was mad that Andre had tried to kiss her and cryptically told Derek that he should be glad she knew how to follow the rules. Derek was released from the hospital and made dinner for Ashley, but he had to leave when he was needed to help put out a fire. Ashley complained to her mother Jan, who caught Ashley staring at the photo collage Andre had created for her. Nicole reminded Andre that Ashley was off limits; Andre admitted he didn't know why he was crushing on an unavailable woman, which was not usually his style.
Hayley was furious when the entire wait staff at the country club shunned her. Bill promised to get people to respect Hayley even if he had to “bring this town to its knees” – but Hayley realized she hadn't counted on dealing with Fairmont Crest's constant opposition to her and suggested that she and Bill end their marriage. After Hayley expressed that Bill seemed to enjoy the squabbling with Dani as much as Dani did, Bill arranged for a romantic meal for Hayley, complete with music from a concert they had attended while honeymooning in Italy. Hayley decided she was strong enough to fight for Bill after all, and Bill vowed to fight beside her.
Kat had breakfast with Tomás but wasn't ready to introduce him to the Duprees, who interestedly watched their interaction from another table. Tomás assured Kat he had no issue with Kat being a virgin. Kat discovered Eva had worn one of her dresses to Nicole's awards gala, then confronted Eva after she saw Eva flirting with Tomás, which deepened the conflict between the young women.
Anita and Vernon recounted the story of their meeting: Anita's singing group, the Articulettes, had been scheduled to perform at a civil rights gala Vernon was attending in the 1970s. Vernon had fallen in love immediately and followed Anita to a theatre in Chicago to take in another one of her shows. Anita recalled that Vernon had passed all of her father's tests – because if he hadn't, she pointed out to her family, “Y'all wouldn't be here.”
Martin and Smitty's adopted son, Tyrell, got his sister, Samantha, to help keep a secret of his from their parents, though Samantha didn't think Tyrell should go through “this” alone. When Smitty caught on to the siblings' exchanged glances, Samantha covered by trying to convince her parents that, at 16, she was old enough to date, like her friends could. When Smitty didn't let Tyrell off the hook, Tyrell merely said that he could handle “it” and wouldn't elaborate.
Mike Davis, Bill's partner at the law firm, rubbed Bill the wrong way when he asked Tomás to detail how he'd “performed” with Kat on their date and by pronouncing that Hayley was hot. Meanwhile, three women approached attorney Naomi and described how they'd each been sexually harassed by Mike, with one describing how the promotion she'd lost when she wouldn't go out with Mike had gone to Hayley. Naomi was conflicted when the ladies wanted her to sue her father's firm on their behalf; Jacob advised his wife that it was a matter of whether Naomi wanted peace, or to do what she was trained to do.
Jacob's feathers were ruffled when new partner Marcel dubbed Jacob a Boy Scout during their first stake-out together. Marcel had seen a previous, equally eager partner shot and didn't want to take the rap for Jacob the way he'd had to with his former captain. When Jacob spotted casino owner Joey Armstrong's secret payoff, Jacob was ready to rush out of the car, but Marcel held him back, instructing the rookie to watch and learn.
Eva was nervous when Nicole wanted to track down “Sherry” and eavesdropped as Ted worked to talk the eventually compliant Nicole out of the search. Leslie thought it had been Ted who had gotten her fired at the gala (when it was really Eva) and discouraged Eva's interest in Tomás, worrying that Kat could get Eva fired as Nicole's assistant. Leslie needed Eva to maintain her foothold in the Richardson house because she wanted Eva to plan an anniversary bash for them, during which she would expose Ted. Eva had a hard time concealing her objection but dutifully got Nicole and Ted psyched about throwing the party. Leslie promised Eva that she would bring the fireworks.
