What happened on Beyond the Gates
On Beyond the Gates, Martin's nightmares intensified and got more detailed; he dismissed Smitty's continued concern but confided in his grandparents about the dreams. Both Smitty and Ted held Martin back from confronting school staff about Tyrell's suspected bullying. Meanwhile, Tyrell's underwear photo and the reaction to it were all over the students' social media feeds.
At the fashion show, Kat rescued Tomás from grilling by her male relatives while Andre coached Dani to be positive instead of feeling like Chelsea's last time on the runway was the end for Dani as well. Samantha was allowed to help Chelsea and Kat behind the scenes, but after her livestreaming assignment turned into an impromptu turn on the catwalk, Samantha immediately decided she wanted to be a model. When Martin and Smitty had different views on whether to allow their daughter to pursue that profession, Martin sought Dani out for advice but still told Samantha no. Samantha defied him and asked Chelsea to be her manager, which put her into conflict with Dani, who assumed she'd be managing Samantha. Dani caught herself when she started taking over Samantha's dreams like she had Chelsea's.
Dani had a bad day at the country club when she was kicked off a charity board in the presence of Bill and Hayley, who wasted no time in trolling her. Anita got vicious and created a new charity for Dani to helm instead.
Despite having seemed to call a truce, the claws were still out between Eva and Kat. Andre met sudden resistance when the formerly cooperative nurses taking part in his documentary began avoiding him. An exhausted Doug put a patient in jeopardy when he was too out of it to complete surgery and announced to Randy that he was quitting gambling. Vanessa blew Diego off for Joey, who told Vanessa a story about having a wife who had cheated on him.
After Ted trailed Leslie to her apartment and gave her the $50,000 she demanded, he told her once again to leave town. Leslie donned a new disguise as “Lulu” and injected Laura's I.V. with potassium, which gave Laura a heart attack and kept her from being released from the hospital — and from putting Eva out of a job. Eva accused Leslie of being the “new nurse” tending to a suddenly sick Laura. After Leslie freaked out on her, Eva backed off but still asked Andre if he'd seen the “nurse” around the hospital.

Andre looked at documentary footage in which Nicole divulged having had a miscarriage between birthing Martin and Kat. When Andre told Ted he didn't want to be a philandering husband like Bill, Ted broke down and admitted that not only had he had an affair 20 years earlier, but his girlfriend told him she had an abortion (conveniently leaving out that he pressured her to do so). Andre kept his promise not to judge Ted but was still troubled by the revelation. After Ted wouldn't take her call, Leslie looked forward to bringing the Richardsons her gift at their anniversary party scheduled for April 29.
