Here's what happened on the March 17, 2025, episode of Beyond the Gates

On Beyond the Gates, Ashley pulled back from Andre's attempt to kiss her and was angry, reminding her friend that she had a boyfriend whom she loved very much. Ashley didn't appreciate Andre's tendency to forget that Derek existed, so Andre apologized and admitted he'd been out of line. Ashley copped to perhaps overreacting, but told Andre that “what almost happened cannot actually happen.” Andre grabbed his gear and beat a hasty retreat out of the nurses' station.
Ashley seemed worried when Derek wheeled himself into the station. He was there to announce that he had been discharged from the hospital. The stressed Ashley pointed out that there were rules against patients just helping themselves to wheelchairs. Derek popped a wheelie and asked if there were rules against that, making Ashley laugh. He then pulled Ashley into his lap, wanting to know if rules prohibited him from telling Ashley how much he loved her. They kissed passionately.
Derek objected to having to exit the hospital in a wheelchair, with Ashley again citing that the hospital had rules and adding that Derek should be glad that Ashley followed them. When Derek jovially asked what rule Ashley had broken that day, she replied that she had had an illicit makeout session...and ended up in a patient's lap. “You bad, bad girl,” Derek leered. “Oh, I am,” Ashley answered cryptically. Breaking the rules like that must have meant that Ashley was in love, Derek surmised. Ashley agreed and pushed Derek out after she signed his discharge papers.
Ashley brought Derek to her place, insistent that Derek's roommates wouldn't be able to care for the recovering Derek properly. Derek didn't want to be babied but admitted he loved Ashley's TLC. Ashley made reference to a plan that she and Derek had laid out for themselves, declaring that it was going pretty well. She encouraged her man to relax and enjoy it when she wanted to show him how much he cared about her. Derek conceded that he hadn't shown enough gratitude for Ashley's affection, and assured her that he loved it. Ashley had been right – their plan was proceeding right on schedule.
Derek and Ashley's kisses became more heated; Ashley stopped to note that Derek had been through a lot the past couple of days. “Are you asking if I'm strong enough?” Derek teased. Derek promised his girlfriend he was, and they resumed their canoodling.
Tyrell and Samantha came home, with Tyrell instructing his sister not to say anything to their parents. Samantha fretted that Tyrell couldn't keep dealing with “this” by himself. The siblings became quiet when Martin and Smitty entered, asking how school had been. After the kids went upstairs, Smitty sensed that something was off. “You got that in less than 10 words,” Martin observed, impressed.
As Samantha and Tyrell did their homework, Smitty picked up on their secret glances. He and Martin asked what was going on, but Samantha covered for Tyrell, complaining that she'd had to turn down a date because her parents wouldn't let her go out with boys like other 16-year-olds. The dads maintained their resistance to Samantha dating, though Samantha wanted the same freedom to explore that her friends had. When Martin asked what Samantha wanted to explore, she replied, “Dad, don't be cringe.”
Martin worried about Samantha going out with “these young horny bastards.” Smitty acknowledged that since he and Martin were guys, they knew where guys were coming from. Samantha just wanted to go the movies; Martin and Smitty joked that they could supervise by sitting in a different row, but finally came around to the idea of revisiting their no-dating rule. Tyrell still looked sullen, which Smitty caught.
Later, Smitty called everyone to dinner, but Smitty also wanted to get into what was clearly bothering Tyrell. Smitty recalled that when he'd been Tyrell's age, he'd had difficulty asking for help. Tyrell would only say, “I can handle it,” but when asked to elaborate, Tyrell said he'd been having problems with calculus. Martin considered the matter closed, but Smitty remained dubious.
Eva saw the plates that Kat and Tomás had left behind. When she heard Nicole coming in, Eva moved to clear the table and told Nicole she shouldn't come home to a mess. Nicole asked for Eva's help in tracking down “Sherry” since Nicole hadn't expected to see her at the gala. Eva cautiously asked if Nicole had known “Sherry” from somewhere else, but when Eva volunteered the connection between “Sherry” and the woman Nicole had talked down from the hospital roof, Nicole gently said she was ethically bound not to discuss it.
Ted walked in to hear Nicole's desire to find “Sherry,” her adamance in part because the server had been fired during the ceremony. Eva worriedly left to make her assigned calls to the country club and ask about “Sherry's” whereabouts, while Ted wanted to know why Nicole wanted to locate the staffer. After Eva reported that the country club had said they likely weren't going to be able to get info on “Sherry” that late in the evening, Andre dropped in with proofs of the gala. Once Eva excused herself and Ted took a call, Nicole intuited that Andre had really come by to talk.
Andre revealed that, even though Nicole had already discouraged his interest in Ashley, he had tried to kiss her. Nicole felt that Ashley had the right to be mad at Andre and reiterated that Andre would not be getting permission to pursue Ashley from Nicole. Andre couldn't understand where his attraction to Ashley was coming from. He had known Ashley long before she had met Derek and hadn't wanted her until recently. Andre didn't usually go after girls who were taken and didn't know why he wanted to now. Nicole had no advice except for Andre to stay away from Ashley. Andre thanked Nicole for the kick in the butt and left.
With Andre gone, Ted again brought up the subject of Nicole locating the server and told his wife she needed to let it go. Nicole insisted that “Sherry” had sought her out for help, while Eva listened to the Richardsons arguing over Ted suddenly telling Nicole what to do. Ted worried that “Sherry” wanted something from Nicole and that she was fixated on her. Nicole couldn't disagree, and Ted emphasized that “Sherry” may indeed need therapy, but Nicole was the wrong doctor to treat her. Eva smiled.
Eva began to leave when Ted thanked her for staying so late. Eva said she'd do anything for Nicole. Ted instructed Eva that she no longer needed to look for the gala staffer, as Nicole had changed her mind. As Ted departed, Eva got a call from Leslie, which Eva sent to voicemail.
Dani woke up from her drunken stupor on Bill and Hayley's couch. It took her a moment to realize where she was, but when she did, she desperately called her friend Pamela for help. Pamela arrived with a new picture frame to replace the one Dani smashed and a full bottle of the vintage wine Dani had pilfered. Pamela wanted to know what had possessed Dani to get into her ex's house, so Dani admitted the trigger had been his press conference, where Bill had let the world know how little Dani mattered. Pamela agreed to help Dani get rid of all evidence of her presence since Bill could be a force in the courtroom. “Who cares about him?” Dani offered. “I fear the wrath of Anita Dupree.”
Pamela noted that Dani was consistent, but not in a good way, with Pamela always getting Dani out of scrapes that Dani created. Dani insisted that she hadn't broken into Bill's. She just sweet-talked a security guard into letting her in. Dani was troubled that the new picture frame didn't match, but Pamela's plan was to simply swap out the glass in the original one. Pamela suggested haste, but Dani figured that Hayley was still drooling over tourist attractions in Italy.
Stateside, Hayley wanted to get home and was dismayed by the amount of traffic the limo was stuck in, so Bill called in a favor and got them a police escort to clear the road and a helicopter ride to transport them to the house faster. When Bill and Hayley entered the foyer, he noticed that the security alarm he was sure he had set was not active. Then, Hayley saw that the photo from their wedding had been moved, plus it bore a scratch that it hadn't before. Bill wasn't convinced anything was wrong until Hayley showed him the wine bottle, which did not include an inscription that she'd had engraved on it. The Hamiltons mutually agreed that Dani had been there; Bill was ready to storm out and confront her, but Hayley stopped him. “She's mine,” Hayley decided.
Dani kept a straight face when Hayley arrived unexpectedly, claiming that she didn't want Dani to hear from someone else that the newlyweds were home. After all, no one liked rude surprises, Hayley smiled. Hayley spied a framed photo of one of Dani's magazine covers and “accidentally” dropped it, shattering the glass. “Are you crazy?” Dani yelped. “One of us is – and the crazy ends now if you know what's good for you. I know you were in my house, bitch!” Hayley spat.
Hayley deemed Dani obsessed due to her inability to stay away from Hayley and Bill, which Hayley said only made Dani look like the pathetic witch Dani was. If Dani didn't keep her distance, Hayley would get a restraining order – and if Dani violated it, Hayley would “throw your ass in jail,” this time not dropping any charges. Hayley pointed out that, while Dani had cast her as the evil other woman, it was Dani who was really the villain. “I don't know what you're talking about,” Dani said innocently, daring Hayley to produce evidence. “Don't try me again, Dani,” Hayley warned. “You don't wanna see what happens when you do.”
Bill was relieved when Hayley returned from Dani's since Hayley had been gone so long. Hayley was glad that Bill hadn't followed her over there and announced that his ex wouldn't be bothering them anymore. She felt that Bill should be proud of her for standing up for them. He relayed that he was and that he was ready to forget about getting back at Dani and focus on building his new life with Hayley.
With Hayley gone, Dani moved to take another drink but thought better of it, instead calling Andre over. She remained gloomy when he arrived but started to make love to him; however, Andre put the brakes on, agreeing with Dani's assessment that he'd had a bad day. Dani divulged that she had too, so she and Andre shifted to simply cuddling on the couch.
