In Bill’s office, his assistant helps his clients exit the room after Dani trashed his desk with a golf club. Bill asked Dani if she felt better, and she replied that she was getting there and slapped him across the face. Bill seemed the least surprised at her behavior and asked Dani what she wanted. Dani told him she wanted to watch him die a slow death after being beaten with his golf club but would settle for answers. Dani asked Bill why he moved his whore into their community. Bill calmly explained that Hayley was not a whore and Fairmont Crest had been his home for many years.

Seething, Dani told Bill that if it were not for marrying her, Bill would be nothing more than a public servant. Bill told Dani that she didn't make him, and it wasn't his intention to hurt her, but that's what happened. Bill said he loved Hayley and hoped that Dani could move on. Dani said she always knew of all his infidelities but looked the other way as she thought it would keep the family together. Dani asked why he left her but Bill said this was his place of business, and he wasn't doing this here. Before Dani left, Bill calmly cautioned Dani against ever raising her hands to Hayley again and said he wasn't afraid of her.

Of note was Chelsea and Naomi’s talk about how, growing up, they always had to tiptoe around their mother (Dani), not knowing which mood she would be in that day, and that Dani was “dramatic and emotional in a big way and always took it out on whoever was closest.”

A family gathering leaves Dani crying again

Anita and Vernon Dupree discussed calling Bill's bluff but decided not to roll the dice on Martin's future. They summoned all their children and grandchildren home to announce that they would all be attending Bill and Hayley's wedding. After drinking all day, smashing mugs, and driving around Maryland assaulting people and trashing office spaces with a golf club, Dani quipped that she was headed to Paris on Friday. “The Duprees will be attending the wedding, including you, Dani,” Anita stated. After just pouring herself a martini, Dani wanted to leave, but Vernon stopped her. Instead of preventing her from getting a DWI, he asked her to do him the favor they were asking without question. Crying and feeling betrayed by her own family, Dani reluctantly agreed.

Road rage or attempted murder

At Orphey Gene’s Soul Kitchen, Leslie, Jan, and Mona gossiped about Dani’s antics that day. Then they talked about how Leslie was grieving someone she loved but recently lost. Mona promised Leslie that they would see each other at choir practice later but had to get back to Nicole’s as she had told Laura they wouldn’t work past 7pm that day. Back at the office, Laura gave Mona a bracelet. Later, when Laura left work, she was driving down the road when a dark-clad rider on a motorcycle pursued her and ran her off the road, and she crashed into some trees. When Leslie arrived home, she took off her dark gloves and black motorcycle helmet and smirked to herself.
