Everybody Loves Raymond star Madylin Sweeten says she was duped by Youthful Daze creator Bryan James.

Online soap opera Youthful Daze is getting a lot of buzz these days, but not exactly for good reasons. Everybody Loves Raymond star Madylin Sweeten claims she was duped into backing the series and is now suing to get her money back.

According to TMZ, the actress, known in the sitcom world as Raymond's Ally, alleges that Youthful Daze star and creator Bryan James asked her to appear in the new season and invest money into the series, as well. She admits she wasn't thrilled about the idea but eventually forked over $28,020 to the show after James reportedly promised she'd have a say in the series' future decisions.

Soon after handing over the money, Sweeten says she was completely ignored, and both casting and filming decisions went on without her opinion or approval. She's now claiming that James never intended to give her control of the show and that she is the victim of a classic bait and switch. Her suit demands that she be paid back the money she invested plus damages.
