Zombieverse survivors face a new quest as Hong-Chul returns to the show
A mischief-maker and antagonist from the last season of Zombieverse returned in episode 3 while the survivors were enjoying their retreat at a pool party in Yangyang. The survivors were having some winding down, pouring humor and fun into the episode when Hong-Chul was spotted at the party. The survivors followed him and caught him to ask some important questions.
They all were curious how he survived the zombie attack, and his appearance, especially his eyes looked suspicious to them. Hong-Chul revealed that he had bite marks and different eyes but he was not a zombie. When he joined the survivors downstairs they all started discussing whether to trust him or not.
Nevertheless, they heard a new briefing that announced that there were a few species out there that developed an antibody after getting attacked by the zombies and were useful for making the antidote that could treat the affected people with the virus. The government also put subsequent prize money for the person providing the whereabouts of such people.
The survivor decided to take Hong-Chul to the National Medical Center in Seoul. However, as soon as they were preparing to take him there, he ran from their clutches and hid at a motel. 6 out of 10 survivors went on a quest to find and catch Hong-Chu while 4 of them remained at the pool party location to rescue Kwon Eun-bi, who got stuck in the middle of zombies who attracted the location.
The team of 6 survivors divided each other into 3 teams of 2 people each who would go in round inside the motel to catch Hon-Chul as there were zombies inside the motel too. However, the first two teams could not find the right room and the men got stuck on the terrace. Din-Din went last and was able to find the key to the right room which was 201.
Hong-Chul laid a trap by making a zombie stand at the entrance and the scene got cut to the pool party before the audience could witness what happened to Din-Din. On the other hand, the survivors at the pool party discovered that the music distracted the zombies and they used it to their advantage to rescue Kwan.
However, as the episode ended, Seon-tae made eye contact with a zombie and it appeared that he was bitten by it.
