What happened in Your Friends and Neighbors Episode 3?
Your Friends and Neighbors Episode 3 continued to build more problems for Cooper, as he faces obstacles from all sides. Barney advises him to hire a lawyer, as it would potentially put his employers at risk, and they would not want to be involved in a lawsuit.
While Cooper does not think it is a good idea, Barney arranges a meeting with Rick Massiello, a hotshot lawyer. Rick tells them that the lawsuit could go on for years and Cooper would have to spend a lot of money. Reluctantly, he hires him.
When Cooper reaches home, he sees Lu at his house. She says that they can continue doing business and he can bring his stolen items to her pawn shop. But if Cooper ever outed her in front of the cops, that would be the end for him.
Later, after a drunk call from Barney, Cooper finds himself at Nick's party. Not only did he have to attend Nick's party, he also gave up the expensive wine bottle he had just stolen from the Resnick household.
Seeing all the beautiful and expensive things at Nick's house gives Cooper an idea, and when the party dies down, he sneaks into the basketball player's house once again. He was eyeing his championship ring the whole night, and as he opened the trophy cabinet to steal it, an unknown figure pointed a gun at him.
