Your Friends and Neighbors cast and character guide: Who plays whom in the Apple TV black comedy?

Apple TV’s Your Friends and Neighbors premiered on April 11, 2025, with the first two episodes. The show follows Jon Hamm’s Andrew ‘Coop’ Cooper, a recently divorced and unemployed hedge fund manager who resorts to criminal activities to maintain his and his family’s lifestyle after being fired.

2) Olivia Munn as Samantha "Sam" Levitt

From Aaron Sorkin’s The Newsroom to popular films such as Steven Soderbergh's Magic Mike, Olivia Munn is a famous and beloved name in Hollywood.

Munn plays Samantha in the black comedy series. Olivia Munn's Sam is in a complex relationship with her friend Mel's ex-husband, Coop. Just like Coop and Mel, she is also going through a complex divorce process.

3) Amanda Peet as Mel Cooper

In the black comedy, Amanda Peet plays Jon Hamm's character, Coop's ex-wife, Mel, who is in a new relationship with a popular retired NBA champion, Nick Brandes. However, she is not immune to her ex-husband’s criminal activities, which might prove to be harmful to her as well.

Peet gained recognition after playing the role of Jill St. Claire, assistant of dentist Nicholas "Oz" Oseransky (Matthew Perry) in The Whole Nine Yards. Since then, she has been seen in many movies, such as Gulliver's Travels and A Lot Like Love.

4) Hoon Lee as Barney Choi

Hoon Lee portrays the character of Barney Choi, Coop’s business advisor and also a close friend. This is not the first time Lee has been a part of a Jonathan Trooper-created show, as he has also acted in Warrior and Banshee.

Other than that, Lee also appeared as a guest actor in Law & Order and NCIS: New Orleans.

5) Isabel Gravitt as Tori Cooper

In Your Friends and Neighbors, Isabel Gravitt plays Tori Cooper, Jon Hamm's character, Coop's daughter.

Gravitt is also known for her roles in Little Fires Everywhere, Dead Sea, and The Watcher.

6) Mark Tallman as Nick Brandes

Mel's new boyfriend, Nick Brandes, is played by Mark Tallman in Your Friends and Neighbors. He is a popular retired NBA player and also Mel’s ex-husband’s friend.

Tallman was previously seen in films like Step Up 3D and the TV show First Wives Club.

In Your Friends and Neighbors, Lena Hall portrays the character of Allison Cooper, the younger sister of Jon Hamm's Coop.
