Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man has released three more exciting episodes. The Disney+ animated series, which tells an alternate origin story of the superhero, is getting more interesting each week with the introduction of new heroes and villains.

In the latest episodes, which were released on February 12, 2025, Peter Parker encounters another iconic Marvel superhero as Daredevil enters the scene. Meanwhile, he faces a dangerous threat in the form of Scorpion.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Episode 6 recap: Peter faces off against Daredevil

Episode 6 of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man raises the stakes as Peter Parker faces conflicts in both his personal life and his superhero duties. Lonnie Lincoln, who has been skipping school and spending time with the 110th Street Gang, is kicked out from the football team.

His younger brother, Andre, worries about him, but Lonnie refuses to listen to him. The teenager, who once had a bright future, is now spiraling down a dark path. Meanwhile, Peter and Nico Minoru’s friendship goes through a tough phase as he invites Harry Osborn to their movie night without telling her first.

Things get more complicated when Peter’s secret identity is accidentally revealed to Nico by Harry. She feels betrayed and storms out. Meanwhile, Norman Osborn calls Peter and tells him someone has broken into Oscorp Tower.

Peter puts over his spidey suit and rushes over, only to find Daredevil sneaking around the tower. The two superheroes face off against each other, but Daredevil manages to escape after telling Spider-Man that Norman is hiding something from him.

When confronted, Norman reveals he and Otto used to work together in the past, until a rift happened. He says Otto might be responsible for the break-in. While Peter is still processing the information, Otto Octavius turns Mac Gargan into the dangerous Scorpion.

Peter gets into an intense battle with Scorpion in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Episode 7

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man episode 7 showcases Pearl worrying about her boyfriend, Lonnie, who has been acting distant and getting involved with the street gang. Meanwhile, Peter tries to talk to Nico to sort out their issues, but she does not want to talk to him.

Norman Osborn later works with Peter to track down Otto Octavius by tracing the energy source of his weapons. They figure out that the source is gamma radiation, which leads them to an energy signal in the city.

At the same time, Pearl confronts Lonnie and begs him to leave the criminal gang. Before he can decide, Mac Gargan attacks them, now fully suited as Scorpion. Spider-Man shows up just in time and gets into an intense battle with Scorpion.

Peter ends up struggling as he runs out of webbing. Scorpion then smashes him and damages his suit. While things look gloomy for the hero, Norman sends a prototype Goblin Glider to save him at the last second.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Episode 8 recap: Lonnie's gang goes against Scorpion

Peter rests to recover from his injuries in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man episode 8. He feels frustrated and unsure if he will ever be the hero he needs to be. Norman takes care of him and is also worried about the superhero’s future.

Meanwhile, Lonnie and the 110th Street Gang plan to take down Scorpion themselves. Pearl is upset with Lonnie for being involved with the gang. She warns him that if he goes through with his plan, their relationship is over.

But Lonnie refuses to back down. He believes he must fight to protect his people, no matter the risk. Peter tries to convince him to walk away, but Lonnie is adamant. The gang meets with Chameleon, who gives them Scorpion’s location.

While the gang charges toward Scorpion, Peter has a discussion with Norman about what he should do moving forward. The mentor tells him to go all out and comes up with a new tagline for the superhero: ‘With great power comes great respect.’ However, Harry tells Peter to do what he believes in and gives him a new Spider-Man suit.
