What happened in the previous episodes of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man?

The previous episodes introduced new villains and storylines in the show. After Norman Osborn revealed to Peter that he knew he was Spider-Man, he offered to help him become a better superhero.

At the same time, two criminals, Maria "Tarantula" Vasquez and James "Speed Demon" Sanders, bought high-tech equipment linked to a past villain, Butane. Norman helped Peter defeat them and suggested Peter should work with him as his mentor.

Considering his family’s financial troubles, Peter accepted Norman as his mentor when he offered him money. Meanwhile, Lonnie Lincoln joined the 110th St. gang to protect his brother, but it led him into more trouble.

He wanted people to recognize his genius and turned a Russian criminal into a laser-shooting villain named Unicorn. While Spider-Man defeated Unicorn after an intense fight, Lonnie grew close to his gang leader and earned the nickname Tombstone.
