Disney+'s Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man finally premiered its first two episodes and kick-started Peter Parker's origin story.
Based on the popular MCU character, the animated series will serve as a prequel to Tom Holland's Spiderman movies but will re-imagine the superhero's character in an alternate timeline, where his character will be mentored by Norman Osborn instead of Tony Stark.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man voice cast includes Hudson Thames, who has reprised the role of Spiderman from What If...?, Colman Domingo, Eugene Byrd, Zeno Robinson, Charlie Cox, and Hugh Dancy.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Episode 3 will be released on Disney+ on February 5, 2025, at midnight PT/3:00 a.m. ET. The episode is titled 'Secret Identity Crisis'
As the title suggests, Peter will continue to navigate the crisis of his dual identity as a high-school student and Spiderman. Episode 2 finale revealed that Norman is aware of his superhero identity, and it would be interesting to see how this will affect Peter.
In MCU's Spiderman movies, Tony Stark discovers the superhero and takes him under his wing. But as Episodes 1 and 2 saw, Peter is offered an internship in Norman's company, which is bound to change his story from the movies.
Tony Stark is a much-beloved character, and fans have loved him as Holland's Spiderman's mentor figure in the movies.
Norman is not only fundamentally different from Tony, but considering he was the main antagonist in the movies, it would be interesting to see where Spiderman's story would take him with him under Norman's wing.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man premiered with Episodes 1 and 2 which introduced us to 15-year-old Peter Parker as he attends the first day of his high school.
Soon, a portal opens, introducing Doctor Strange and a symbiote monster, which destroyed his high school. Peter is also bitten by a spider who came through this portal,
The episode then follows a time jump where Peter transforms into Spiderman and wears a homemade suit. He is also attending a new high school, Rockford T. Bales High.
Spiderman enjoys his new-found transformation and is taking on a vigilante night shift. He gets recorded on a video while saving Harry Osborn from muggers.
In Episode 2, Spiderman meets not Tony Stark but Norman Osborn, who offers him an internship program in his Oscorp Industries. He agrees and meets other interns there, Amadeus Cho, Asha, and Jean Foucault.
He joins a team led by Doctor Connors, who is working on a project to create a self-sustaining battery.
The episode ends with Osborn calling Peter into his office and showing him security footage of him wearing his costume, revealing he knows his Superman identity.
