Shark Tank Season 16 episode 11 premiered on ABC on February 7, 2025. The episode featured four pitches from various entrepreneurs but one that stood out for investor Barbara Corcoran was flaminGO.

Pitched by Smith Alan Baggett, flaminGO is a "pre-charged phone charger" that can be bought at a store. It is an innovative solution for charging mobile devices. A compact power bank that has a 3-in-1 tip, the product is designed for convenience on the go. It weighs 2.5 ounces, which makes it easier to carry around.

However, what made this pitch stand out even more was a humourous exchange between Shark Tank investor Barbara Corcoran and Smith. In the middle of his pitch, Barbara made an unexpected remark saying that he resembles her first boyfriend. She said,

"You know my first boyfriend looked just like you and he was a cowboy."

The music instantly changed to a more rom-com background and Smith had a witty reply up his sleeve. He said,

"I was gonna tell you, next time I see you, you'll be in my dreams when I go to bed at night."

Smith Alan Baggett, pitched his product on Shark Tank in the most recent episode. He sought for $100,000 for 20% of his company. After he was done, Robert commented that Smith had an "amazing voice."

Explaining further about his product, Smith revealed that it retails for $19.99. While the manufacturing cost is $3.65. This ignited Lori's interest in the product. She asked about how fast it could charge a phone and how long it retains its power.

A product of convenience, Smith joked that when you are truly in need of a charger, an individual will not question how fast their phones will be charged. He said,

"When you're begging for water in the desert and somebody comes by with a canteen, do you say, 'Is that tap or sparkling?'

Clarifying then, Shark Tank entrepreneur Smith explained that the newer phones have bigger batteries and thus, it would be difficult to charge them fully. But a flaminGO can fully charge an iPhone 10.

Differentiating himself from other kinds of similar products in the market, Smith said that there surely are products available but most of them do not come pre-charged and if they do, they do not have the cable.

Kevin soon took an interest in the product and was trying to analyze its worth in the standalone technical market or the promotional space. Barbara then asked the projected sales of flaminGO and Smith joked that it depended on them together (after potentially making a deal). She, however, wanted to know the sales without the involvement of any sharks.

Smith then talked about sales "without" Barbara in the deal to which she replied,

"Just you saying 'without me' breaks my heart."

This was when the Shark Tank investor revealed her first cowboy boyfriend.

Leading into the negotiations with the same energy, Barbara asked why he needed a shark in his business. He expressed that the $100,000 would help in trade shows. She made an offer for 25% for $100,000. Barbara said,

"Honestly, I'd do it for 20% but I'm supposed to act like a Shark. But for you, baby, I'm no Shark. I'm like a guppy in your arms."

Shark Tank investors Mark and Lori then advised Smith to counter at 20% saying that Barbara would accept his offer. But he wanted to be fair to her and offered a deal at 22.5%. The duo then finally settled for 22% in exchange for $100,000. At the end, Smith said,

"There might be hope for us after all, Miss Barbara."

Finalizing the deal, the two hug it out.
