You Season 5 cast and character guide: Who plays whom in the final season of Netflix's psychological thriller?

As seen in the recently release teaser, Penn Badgley is back for the fifth and final season of Netflix's highly anticipated psychological thriller You. As the teaser suggests, season 5 will drop on the streaming service on April 24.

Based on Caroline Kepnes's book series, You follows Joe Goldberg, played by Penn Badgley, a book store manager from New York City, on his quest to find The One throughout the USA.

However, in the last season, Badgley's Joe drifted across the pond, to London and widened the scope of his search. Pretending to be a Professor, he slipped into a socialite circle and met his second wife-to-be, Kate Galvin, played by Charlotte Richie. He was enjoying his new luxurious life when he got tangled in a serial murder case. All of his friends started dying one by one, making him realize that he could not live a normal life.

In You Season 5, fans will see Badgley's Joe returning to where it all started, New York City. However, whether his dark desires and horrific past catch up to him or he gets out of it all, will only be known when the new season drops.

Apart from Badgley, some other members of the original cast will be reprising their roles and some new faces will join the final season, too.

The main cast of You Season 5

1) Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg

The American actor is famous for portraying the character of Dan Humphrey in the beloved show Gossip Girl. He also appeared in another popular 90s show The Young and The Restless. Apart from this, he has also appeared in films like Easy A(2010), The Stepfather(2009), and The Paper Store(2016).

In the Netflix series You, Badgley plays the titular character of Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager from New York. Throughout the four seasons of the show, Goldberg has been stalking and killing people in search of The One. As his crimes slowly catch up to him, fans will see if he manages to get away or get caught for one last time.

2) Charlotte Richie as Kate Lockwood-Goldberg

The British actor has been working as an actor since 2004. She is mainly known for her roles in Ghosts, Fresh Meat, and Call The Midwife.

She was introduced in season 4 of You and quickly became Joe’s obsession. Now the second wife of Joe Goldberg, we will see whether she catches up on Joe’s notorious activities or not.

3) Madeline Brewer as Bronte

The popular American Actress, Madeline Brewer is known for her role in Netflix’s hit series Orange Is The New Black. Currently, she also appears in The Handmaid’s Tale which earned her an Emmy nomination.

She will play the role of a playwright who connects with Joe through literature.

4) Anna Camp as Reagen and Maddie Lockwood

Known for her role as Sarah Newlin in True Blood, Anna Camp was also a part of The Pitch Perfect film series.

In You Season 5, Camp will play the role of Twins Reagen and Maddie. One of whom wants to lead the Lockwood Legacy while the other enjoys her life as a socialite.

5) Griffin Matthews as Teddy Lockwood

The American Actor is also a writer and a director. He co-wrote an award-winning play named Invisible Thread. Apart from that, he appears in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. He has also appeared in The Mentalist, Law And Order: LA, and Dear White People.

Matthews will play the role of Joe’s brother-in-law. An outsider who might become Joe's loyal friend.
