Netflix's popular The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On featured six couples for its third season. The finale episode saw four couples making it to the end, of which two got engaged. Two couples who chose to walk away as a single were J.R., Zaina, Nick, and Sandy.
When the participants saw each other during the recently released The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 reunion, they had a chance to get closure from their former partner. One former couple, Zaina and J.R., opened up about their time together.
Zaina shared that for their three-year-long relationship, she felt that J.R. didn't let her have "closure." J.R. shared that he had been on his own "self-discovery" journey. He mentioned the matter multiple times during the show's reunion.

Netflix released the much-awaited The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 reunion episode on December 18, 2024. The segment featured the return of OG cast members.
One was a former couple who broke things off when the show ended. They were J.R. and Zaina, who had been in a relationship for 3 years before joining the experiment.
However, they parted ways as The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 ended. Referring to J.R. breaking up with her, Zaina shared that she didn't get "closure" for their such a long relationship. Sharing his side, J.R. mentioned:
"I just said, "Zaina, I need time to process things." I haven't given her closure because I'm still processing things."
When Zaina asked if he was "still processing," J.R. replied:
"We never put a timeline on closure. I've been working on myself. I've been on a journey of self, adn she's asked me..."Where are we? Where are we at?" I'm not at a place where I can speak on our relationship. I still need time. Even to today, yes. I'm still processing things. That was a lot that we went through."
