"You did nothing wrong" - Love is Blind star Monica's sister Nicolle apologizes to Joey for judging him too quickly 

Love is Blind dropped all-new episodes of the season on February 28, 2025, and they feature a heartwarming conversation between Nicolle, Joey, and Monica about the latter's relationship. Previously on Love is Blind, we had seen how the two, fresh out of the pods, had gone to visit Monica's family. They had fun and even a fam-jam.

Joey visited the infamous sock bin and they were laughing all the time. However, Nicolle, Monica's sister, was not happy about it. She felt as if he was faking being nice to the family. She warned Monica to be careful about him.

Later when Joey and Monica were hanging out at the apartment, he revealed how he felt a sense of jealousy from her sister. He pointed out that there could be some underlying issues that need to be addressed.

They both decided to talk to her again and clear out the misunderstandings because it was important for Monica to have her sister's support during the whole experience.

In episode 10 of Love is Blind, we see that the two go for their professional photos being taken and the photographer is none other than Nicolle. They spend their time posing and having fun and soon, hang out to discuss the other night.

Nicolle acknowledged that she had been too hard on Joey but now sees that he is a good match for her sister. In a conversation, apologizing for her behavior and explaining how she felt, Nicolle said,

"You come home with this random dude and it almost just felt like you were strangers because you were a stranger to me. And I, just like, had my heart on my sleeve, and I was not that nice, so I'm sorry. You did nothing wrong."

Love is Blind stars Joey and Monica have a conversation with Nicolle

Joey and Monica meet with Nicolle in Love is Blind in episode 10 where they discuss their relationship. In a confessional, Monica reveals that she has been in constant conversation with Nicolle about her relationship with Joey and initially, was pretty angry at her for saying all the things that she said by the fireplace.

However, deep inside her, she wants her sister to be by her side because Joey has become an important person in her life and they are moving towards a potential married life.

Thus, after the photo shoot was over on Love is Blind, the trio got a coffee and stood around the corner to discuss Nicolle's feelings towards their relationship now and if they had changed.

Monica started by saying that Nicolle was "skeptical" of her fiancé and did not give him a fair chance to prove himself to her. She also acknowledged that it might be tough for her to accept him into the family so quickly, given that it all happened within a month.

Nicolle accepted that speed of it and thus, apologized to him. Talking about his feelings, Joey said,

"I appreciate the apology. This experiment, it's unlike anything, obviously, that you have ever experienced. And just know that my intentions are always going to be pure, regardless. Besides the experiment, was there anything about me specifically that you were concerned or didn't have a good impression about?"

Answering Joey's question, Nicolle said that she was only ticked off by his energy levels and how he had a 'ton of energy." But Joey reassured that even though he is very energetic, he is not faking anything when it comes to Monica.

The conversation then ended on a happy note, where Nicolle acknowledged that she was just trying to 'protect' her sister, but she is all grown up now
