Married At First Sight: Australia Season 12 aired its latest episode on March 2, 2025. The 21st episode of the reality show featured couples, including Veronica and Eliot. They faced emotional issues as they discussed who could "handle" the truth among various matters with each other.
When Married At First Sight: Australia star Eliot mentioned that if they were to "assume" he could handle the truth, Veronica thought otherwise. Referring to his letter, Veronica said that she was trying to tell him how it made her feel.

Like, I can handle the truth, and I'm trying to talk to you, and you just lose your mind. So I don't want to sit here and argue. This is givine me a headache. The conversation started regarding Eliot's confessional letter. When the female cast member told Eliot how she was feeling, he asked her to assume that he could handle the truth.
However, Veronica disagreed with him. She responded that when she tried to share her feelings and express how his letter made her feel, he "blew up." She stated that she could handle the "truth" and she was trying to "talk" to him.
Referring to their conversation, she stated it was giving her a headache, hence, she didn't want to argue. Married At First Sight: Australia star also stated that her neck was hurting, and they went around in circles.
"So you're doing the same thing as last night. No we're not. We just got to this thing about how you don't trust me," responded Eliot.
Listening to him, Veronica told him repeatedly not to "raise" his voice at her. While he replied that she was "just screaming" at his face, she said she had had enough.
"Do not raise your voice at me. I've had enough. I'm not screaming in your face. I'm setting a boundary. Do not, yeah, raise your voice at me. I have been so civil with you. And now we are going around in circles and you are being unreasonable. And I will not tolerate," stated Veronica.
While he mentioned it was "civil," the female cast member told him she had had "enough" and left.
Regarding the letter, fans also witnessed in another segment how Eliot referred to Veronica's reaction to his letter as a "knife in the chest."
