The drama on Baddies Midwest reached a fever pitch in Episode 8 when Akbar and Diamond The Body turned what started as petty shade into a full-blown confrontation. The tension hit its peak when Akbar delivered a scathing callout:
"You b*tches get a little bit of clout off this show and thank y'all goddamn Madonna. It don't work like that, baby. You don't know nothing about me."
Beginning with charges of inciting drama behind the scenes on Baddies Midwest, the heated argument swiftly turned into one of the most intense confrontations of the season, complete with body shaming, personal assaults, and—spoiler alert—some regrettably directed saliva.
What happened between Akbar and Diamond The Body on Baddies Midwest?
What began as Akbar accusing Diamond of "putting a battery in Biggie's back" on Baddies Midwest quickly spiraled into a war of words that would make even the most seasoned reality TV viewers clutch their pearls.
When Diamond disclosed that she had earlier attempted to be understanding and praised Akbar's work, the issue took an intriguing turn. Diamond was not impressed when Akbar said, "I'm a professional," in response. Her confessional stated, "You could have just said thank you."
The exchange devolved into a battle of the beauty queens on Baddies Midwest, with both women taking shots at each other's appearances. Akbar didn't hold back, declaring in her confessional,
"The b*tch thinks she fine because she had surgery. We can go day for day, b*tch. My face card going to eat you alive."
Not stopping there, she aimed at Diamond's physique, criticizing everything from her "hard" body to her "not jiggly" assets.
Diamond responded to the body-shaming with a straightforward illustration while keeping her composure: "Where don't you notice a jiggle? This is a jiggle."
Akbar, however, took things a step further when she said,
"Now I don't want to talk to the snag of two b*tches that missing a teeth."
How did the situation escalate?
The breaking point came when Akbar decided to add some unsolicited hydration to the situation, spitting at Diamond. As Diamond later recounted,
"She did the most disgusting, the most grimy, the most lowest thing that you can do, and she spit at me. Now I'm going to beat your *ss."
In the wise words of Diamond's earlier confessional,
"If you felt some type of way, then maybe you need to check with yourself because a hit dog does holler."
And there was plenty of hollering to go around in this episode.
Baddies Midwest continues to prove that when it comes to reality TV drama, the Midwest can bring just as much heat as any coast. As for Akbar and Diamond? Something tells us this beef isn't quite done cooking.
