Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 is all set to premiere on Paramount Network on November 10, 2024. This will mark the end of a two-year-long wait for fans, as the previous part was released in November 2022.

The neo-Western series has been on air since 2018, consistently topping the viewership charts. Audiences love to watch the drama unfold as the Dutton family members struggle to safeguard their ranch in Montana, while also having conflicts with each other.

While Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 will continue the legacy of the Duttons, it will not feature the fan-favorite patriarch John Dutton III, as actor Kevin Costner has already confirmed his exit from the show.

Yellowstone Season 5 returns on Paramount Network on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 8 PM ET. The show has landed another network for the upcoming part 2, as it will premiere on CBS on the same day at 10 pm ET.

However, viewers in the US would not be able to watch the show on Paramount+, as its streaming rights are with Peacock. Peacock usually releases the entire season of the show a few months after its television premiere.

Meanwhile, viewers in Canada can watch the first episode of Season 5 Part 2 on Paramount+ on November 10, while UK audiences can stream it on the platform on November 11.

The upcoming part will feature six episodes, taking the total number of episodes in Season 5 to 14. During the premiere of seasons 4 and 5, Paramount aired the first two episodes back-to-back, followed by the usual weekly schedule. The network has not yet confirmed if Season 5 Part 2 will debut with one episode or two.

If a single episode is aired on November 10, the show will release the remaining five episodes weekly on Sundays until December 15, 2024. On the other hand, if Paramount chooses to release two episodes on the premiere day, the remaining four episodes will finish their run on December 8, 2024.

The upcoming episodes will mark the exit of John Dutton, while the struggle for control over the ranch will intensify among his children. Paramount earlier announced that the show will end with its fifth season.

Though recent reports suggest that the network is still discussing a potential sixth season, the upcoming episodes will showcase some sort of conclusion to the story. The show will follow up on the events of Season 5 Part 1 as the Dutton family's internal war heats up.

Beth wants John to kill Jamie, who is secretly working with Sarah Atwood to get John impeached and turn the ranch into a business. Meanwhile, she has the Rip by her side, who is willing to go to any extent to protect the ranch’s legacy.

On the other hand, Chief Rainwater and his people might still change things depending on how a pipeline through their land gets handled.

In June 2024, Kevin Costner confirmed that he would not star in the show anymore as its filming schedule conflicted with his dream project, the Horizon film saga.

The makers have not recast the character of John Dutton III and have instead made changes to the script to incorporate his departure. John’s daughter, Beth, and adoptive son, Jamie, will now be the central characters as they battle it out to have control over the ranch.

While Costner is not returning, other main cast members continue to be a part of the show, including Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, Wes Bentley, Luke Grimes, Gil Birmingham, Brecken Merrill, Kelsey Asbille, Ian Bohen, Ryan Bingham, and Moses Brings Plenty.
