The group held Coach Ben's trial in Yellowjackets Season 3 Episode 4
Yellowjackets Season 2 ended with a cliffhanger on who burned down the group's cabin in the finale, and the latest episode saw the group reaching a conclusion. Eager to prove her leadership skills to the group, Nat convinces everyone to hold a trial for Coach Ben on the charges of arson and attempted murder.
Nat also announced that the verdict would be decided by a two-thirds majority. The trial began with Tai as the prosecutor and Misty defending Ben. Both present their arguments, with Tai accusing Ben because he was afraid after the group ate Jackie's body and burned their cabin in fear.
Meanwhile, Misty argues that Shauna could also be the arsonist because she was unhappy with Nat being chosen as the antler queen. After the end of the trial, Ben delivers an emotional speech stating that he now understands the group's decision to eat Jackie's body to survive the Wilderness.
Moved by his speech, the girls vote in favor of Ben, which hinders them from reaching a conclusion. Seeing that the trial is going nowhere, Shauna urges the group to believe that Ben is the arsonist, and Lottie, Travis, and Akilah change their votes, which concludes the trial with a guilty verdict for Coach Ben.
Tai and Van spent time together in Yellowjackets Season 3 Episode 4
In the latest episode, Tai is convinced that the Wilderness is asking for another sacrifice after Natalie's death, and maybe then it will spare Van's life, and the two will get to spend more time together.
She convinces Van to choose a person to sacrifice and places a Queen of Hearts card on the pavement. They believe that whoever picks the card is destined to be sacrificed by the Wilderness. They continue with their plan, and a man picks up the card and puts it in his pocket. They follow him through his apartment, but when Tai is about to make a move, Van convinces her not to.
She instead convines them to spend some of the remaining time left with her because they don't know what the future holds. Reminiscing about their young dream of eating a pretzel in New York, they buy a pretzel and go on a ride in a horse carriage. But Tai notices the hand tremors in Van's hands, which might hint that time is running out for the couple.
Jeff and Shauna signs up for volunteer work in Yellowjackets Season 3 Episode 4
Convinced that their almost car accident resulted from all the bad deeds they have done in the past, Jeff and Shauna sign up for volunteer work, which is coincidentally Misty's workplace.
Shauna accuses Misty of tampering with the car brakes, and the two women fight. Later, when Shauna is seeing the food prep in the walk-in freezer, she gets accidentally locked in and thinks that Misty is the one who closed the door on her.
Trapped, she again has a vision of dead Jackie, who mocks her for getting trapped in the cold just like her. She hints that Shauna will also freeze to death, just like her, because she did not come to her rescue.
With Shauna's increasing visions, it is clear that she is soon losing her grip on reality, which might become problematic for her.
