XO, Kitty season two recently premiered on Netflix on January 16. In the second installment of XO, Kitty follows up where the first season had left, taking into account Kitty's breakup with Dae owing to her feelings for Yuri. The titular character of Kitty Song-Covey is portrayed by actress Anna Cathcart who has previously been associated with the To All The Boys movie franchise.
The second season centers around Kitty as she attends the Korean International School of Seoul or KISS, and embarks on a journey of self-discovery which also involves falling in love and rediscovering herself. 1) Anna Cathcart plays Kitty Song Covey
Anna Cathcart hails from Vancouver, Canada, and has been actively working since 2018. She made waves with her portrayal of Kitty Song Covey in To All The Boys I've Loved Before in 2018. She then followed it up by reprising her character in subsequent films such as To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You and To All The Boys: Always and Forever. Apart from this, she has also appeared on Descendants 3.
The character of Kitty Song Covey is an electrifying presence on screen and she prides herself for her matchmaking skills. She attends the Korean International School of Seoul.
2) Anthony Keyvan plays Q
Anthony Keyvan has been working as an actor actively since 2008 and he was first noticed on Hulu's Love, Victor for playing the character of Rahim. The character of Q has been described as the best friend of Dae and strikes up an instant connection with Kitty upon her arrival at the school.
Keyvan hasn't yet had any other big film outing, however, he has been regularly appearing on several television shows for a single episode or two episodes at a time, such as Once Upon A Time In Wonderland, Twisted, and Alexa and Katie.
3) Gia Kim plays Yuri Han
Gia Kim is a relatively new actor and hasn't had many onscreen appearances, except for a role in the short film Happy Ending. Kim grew up in South Korea and was influenced by the third culture. Before playing the character of Yuri, she attended an international school in Hong Kong, thus giving her some source material to build upon for her character.
4) Minyeong Choi plays Dae Kim
Minyeong Choi is a celebrated Korean star who has made a name for himself by appearing in popular K-Dramas such as Entertainer, Radio Romance, and Twenty-Five Twenty-One. XO, Kitty marks the first time that Choi is appearing in an American production.
XO, Kitty has revealed that Dae is Kitty's boyfriend and a meritorious student who is dedicated to keeping his scholarship at KISS intact.
5) Sang Heon Lee plays Min Ho
Sang Heon Lee's debut performance was as Min Ho in the first season of XO, Kitty. Like Gia Kim, Heon Lee too attended an international school in Hong Kong after being raised in South Korea.
