The Traitors US season 3 showcased the competitive nature of the reality TV series in which contestants are divided into two groups. The main task for the faithful is to find out who the traitors are among them, which means trusting another player is not easy.

The series concluded on March 6, 2025, after the finale and reunion episodes aired, revealing the faithful winners: The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania, Ivar Mountbatten, and former Bachelorette Gabby Windey alongside Dylan Efron.

During a conversation with Vanity Fair on March 6, 2025, The Traitors US season 3 winner opened up about his time on the murder mystery show. Efron stated that at one point in the game, he felt he eventually had to join traitors and leave faithfuls. According to Efron, he would not have been able to lie, which is why becoming a traitor wasn't the best-case scenario for him. Dylan said:

"I would’ve had to at that point. I’ve talked to Danielle about it too, and she’s like, “Dylan, one, I would’ve recruited you and you would’ve been awful,” which probably would've been great for her. If I just went in there red-cheeked and was like, “Oh, I can’t lie.”"

The winners for The Traitors US season 3 received more than $200,000 for the prize fund alongside the winner title.

The Traitors US season 3 winner Dylan Efron discusses his strategy in the competition

In his interview, Dylan emphasized following his intuition and observing all suspects closely. When the interviewer asked him about his decision not to listen to Danielle, Efron explained he was not ready to "change his vote." Despite him being friends with Danielle, The Traitors US winner prioritized his game strategy and followed his evaluation of each candidate. Efron said:

"Look, I wasn’t going to change my vote. There was no way. But I’m feeling all the feelings. I’m seeing someone that I trust and that’s a friend pleading with me and it is very crushing, honestly."

He continued emphasizing the importance of having "faith" in his strategy; he said:

"But I had faith that I could put my strategy first and as much as it did suck, I had just been through this with Carolyn, so I knew I needed to do the right thing and that we would still be friends after this."

Later in the interview, The Traitors US star addressed Bob the Drag Queen's comments about his game strategy. He stated that his fellow castmates couldn't witness much of his game plan as Bob the Drag Queen had left the castle early on in the competition.

"I love Bob the Drag Queen. And I guess my response would be, that’s easy to say when you were only in the castle for four days. He didn’t get to see my strategy."

Initially in the competition, when faithfuls including Boston Rob Mariano and Ciara Miller were either banished or murdered, Efron felt he couldn't "just sit back" and watch his teammates go home. Eventually, he figured out his game strategy, and the player numbers reducing by ten made it easier for him to evaluate each person's motive.

All episodes of The Traitors US season 3 are available to stream on Peacock TV.
