What happened in Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light Episode 3?

In the previous episode of Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light, things started to fall apart in the kingdom as a rebellion began in Lincolnshire. People started to believe that the King had died and Cromwell was going to rule the country, which only made the situation worse.

The citizens saw Cromwell as a devil who wanted to destroy churches and steal holy items. While the King stood by the chief minister, the nobles in his court did not trust him as they saw him as a common man who had risen too high.

Meanwhile, Queen Jane tried to calm the whole situation. She begged Henry to let people keep their old religious customs. At the same time, Cromwell had some family matters to deal with as he arranged a marriage for his son, Gregory.

A girl named Antwerp later arrived, claiming that she was Cromwell’s daughter, which made things awkward. Amid all the chaos, Jane’s pregnancy was revealed, which finally gave the King a sigh of relief.
