What happened in Will Trent Season 3 Episode 8: A quick recap
Will Trent Season 3 Episode 8 titled Abigail B. offers a mix of high-stakes drama and personal moments. Interestingly, it follows three major key storylines: Will saving a child after exposing a child trafficking ring, Ormewood providing security for Ariana Madix, only to get hurt, and Angie forming a new romantic connection.
As the episode title suggests, episode 8 focuses on a missing girl named Abigail Brannon. Initially, it looks like Abigail has been kidnapped but Will eventually finds out a clue through a jacket and learns that it's far from an abduction case.
The little girl was smuggled from Seattle to Atlanta by a woman named Eleanor Fielding who claimed to be her mother. Soon the GBI takes on the case and they come across a suspect, Harlan Remy Jenner.
Jenner tried hard to stall the investigation, but Will ensured to get answers from him. His relentless pressure and strategic questioning of Jenner helped in breaking him down and learning about Abigail's whereabouts. This way, the GBI agent successfully rescued the girl.
On the other side, we see Detective Michael Ormewood taking on a new job as security for reality TV star Ariana Madix. However, little did Ormewood know that the TV star's friend Rina would cause a chaotic situation by trying to escape and hurting his hand.
Ariana, who has EMT training, takes no time in helping Ormewood and the two unexpectedly join forces to track Rina down. They later discover that Rina has been struggling with drugs and to ensure her safety, Ariana pays off her debt from a drug dealer.
In another subplot, Angie Polaski meets Dr. Seth McDale to help him after a hit-and-run incident. Will Trent Season 3 Episode 9 then teases a chemistry between Angie and Seth, but she's determined to catch the culprit first.
