Will Trent Season 3 Episode 8 follows the kidnapping of a little girl

In the latest episode of Will Trent, what starts off as a simple kidnapping case spirals into a larger ring of child trafficking. In the beginning, as Will sits in a park, he sees a little girl passing him with her father. While at first glance, everything seems fine, Will somehow feels a bit odd looking at the father-daughter duo.

His suspicion of something being wrong gets confirmed when he gets to the washroom and finds a little girl’s jacket dumped there. Acting instantly, Will goes on the lookout for the man and soon finds him, but unfortunately, the little girl seems to have disappeared.

The man turns out to be Harlan Jenner, and when questioned about the child, he flatly refuses having any little kid with him. However, upon further investigation, along with the help of Faith and Amanda, security footage from an airport reveals that the girl is with a woman and ready to board a flight.

It is from the flight’s passenger list that the woman traveling with the child, Abigail, is revealed to be Eleanor Fielding. Harlan and Eleanor clearly worked together in the abduction, and Eleanor pretended to be Abigail’s mother to ensure that she could be taken out on the flight without any hassle.

As some crucial evidence compels Harlan to give away information about where Abigail was taken, it is also clear that this whole kidnapping business goes deeper than these two people. Amanda suggests that there must be a larger ring, called Dark Passage at work, and eventually, that turns out to be true.

Further investigation leads the team to Lennox Riggins, the mastermind behind the whole gang. As all the criminals are taken into custody, Will and his team race against time to save Abigail. With Marion also involved in the case, the GBI successfully rescues Abigail and arrests the people responsible.
