What could season 3 of Tell Me Lies be about?
The series is adapted from Carola Lovering’s critically acclaimed novel of the same name, gaining traction across the world. This enamoring saga’s storyline was further expanded per an interview with Deadline on August 26, 2024.
The executive producer Meghan Oppenheimer teased the probability of several seasons. Now, whether she meant just season 2 or more is a vague topic. However, speaking to the publication she mentioned,
“When I pitched the show originally - it’s probably three years ago now - I had to write a pretty thorough, serious format that had possibilities for later seasons.”
When discussing Oppenheimer’s alleged plot for season 3, the executive producer mentioned having several ideas but might settle for a darker tone. Referring to season 2, Oppenheimer remarked,
“I think that a lot of people are rightfully very distraught at the end of this season, and I think some revenge needs to happen, or justice."
While the primary toxic ethos of the series will remain unaltered per Oppenheimer, if season 3 is greenlit, there could be some pretty interesting plots and subplots in store.
