Taylor Sheridan's Landman on Paramount+ will head into a gripping finale on January 12, 2025, and fans are already wondering whether the show will return for Season 2.

While the show has not been renewed for Season 2 officially, it is expected to return for another season, especially after actress Demi Moore accidentally revealed that Season 2 will begin shooting in January 2025 in an interview with Deadline.

Taylor Sheridan's record suggests that Landman Season 2 is a possibility

Earlier, in May 2024, Actress Demi Moore, who plays Cami Miller on the show, confirmed Season 2 in an interview with Deadline:

''I’ve already completed the first season and I’m excited for us to start the second which will be at the beginning of next year.”

If Moore's statement is to be trusted and the show will begin shooting in 2025, Season 2 could arrive in November-December 2025, considering it took Season 1 nine months to complete shooting and post-production and reach our screens.

While Sheridan's Landman has not been officially confirmed for a second season, the series will likely return for Season 2. Considering Sheridan's partnership with Paramount+, which has gained the streaming platform a lot of views, especially from the multiple Yellowstone spinoffs, it is very likely that Paramount+ would invest in more episodes of the show.

Also, considering Sheridan's part record, every series by the director has been renewed for a second season, except Lawmen: Bass Reeves and 1883. Comparing them to the Landman's ratings and the endless possibilities that are still unexplored in the Texas oil business, Landman Season 2 is inevitable.

In an interview with The Direct, co-creator, Christian Wallace, confirmed that he would be interested in working on future seasons if there is a story to tell:

''Well, I mean, as long as there are stories to tell, I would love to keep telling them. And I think we really just skinned the surface on our first season, and that's saying something because they cover a lot of ground. So yeah, I hope we keep telling these stories for a while.''
