Considering the cliffhanger ending of the finale, fans waited untill December 2024 to hear about Bel-Air Season 4. Peacock renewed the show for its fourth Season, which will also serve as the final one. A dramatic reimagining of the beloved 90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Bel-Air follows Jabari Banks' portrayal of Will Smith's journey from the streets of West Philly to the gated mansions of Bel-Air.

As the third Season concluded with a cliffhanger, there are some important plot points that Bel-Air Season 4 should address. One of these is Jazz and Hilary's status as a couple. They dated for a while, but their relationship ended, and Hilary married Lamarcus in Season 3. However, something happens that may or may not rekindle Hilary and Jazz's romance.

Will Bel-Air Season 4 confirm Jazz and Hilary's status as a couple?

We first meet Jazz as Will's Uber driver, but over time, he becomes one of his close friends. Jazz met Hilary through his numerous interactions with Will, and they dated for a while before ultimately breaking up. The previous third Season was not a great time for Jazz, as he had tax issues and struggled to manage the record store.

Meanwhile, Hilary marries Lamarcus Alton at the end of Bel-Air Season 3 after getting back together with him in Season 2. However, Lamarcus suffers from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a condition that can cause arrhythmia, chest pain, and even death. He opted for surgery, and it seemed that Lamarcus got better and resumed playing football.

However, Lamarcus fainted while he and Hilary were celebrating their honeymoon. It is not revealed whether Lamarcus is alive or not in the Bel-Air Season 3 finale. His fate in Bel-Air Season 4 will affect Hilary's story in the final Season. If he is alive, Hilary will help Lamarcus on his recovery journey. If Lamarcus passes away, then she will have to mourn his death and figure out what this means for her relationship with Jazz.

The Jazz & Hilary romantic storyline has several loose ends that need to be resolved before Bel-Air Season 4 concludes.

As the upcoming Season is also its final one, actress Cassandra Freeman, who played the character of Viv Banks, expressed hope and happiness for it in an interview. In the same interview, she also revealed that the Bel-Air team is exploring different storylines for the fourth Season.

What did Cassandra Freeman say about Bel-Air Season 4?

Cassandra Freeman sat down for an interview with ScreenRant at the Sundance Film Festival to premiere Love, Brooklyn. In that interview, she expressed feeling both ecstatic and bittersweet about Bel-Air Season 4 being the final one. She also mentioned that the team is currently discussing possible storylines for the upcoming Season. She said:

"Oh, it's bittersweet, but I feel so ecstatic that, you know, so many people don't get to go back. They're just like, 'And you are done.' So, it feels great that we get to have this family reunion, and really end the show with purpose, with intention. We've already started talking about storylines, and yeah, we'll be back at work in a few months."

Freeman’s comment suggests that the production team is focused on concluding the show on a high note. The fourth season possibly resemble the ending of the original The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which focused on characters feeling optimistic about the future.

How do you think the Jazz and Hilary storyline will play out in Bel-Air Season 4? Will he attempt to start a relationship with Hilary if she is a widow, or will he process those feelings and finally move on?
