"With the culmination of Season Three we have, in many ways, reached the end of the beginning. In Season Four, a new journey begins. The question is whether it will lead our characters home, or deeper into this unrelenting nightmare."
Griffin hinted at a new journey for the characters as they're going to encounter more challenges and mysteries. Season 4 might reveal the true nature of the nightmarish creatures, who were once humans.
They sacrificed their children for eternal life and Fatima’s pregnancy with Smiley proved that they can be reborn after death. The origins of their immortality and their connection to the town remain a mystery that Season 4 might answer.

Being the lead actor in the series, Season 4 will have Harold Perrineau as Boyd Stevens.
