Tommy's drastic step in Landman Episode 9 could be dangerous for him in the finale

While the negotiations were in order and the cartel signed off the lease in Episode 1, the explosion in the premiere disrupted the momentary peace between the cartel and M-Tex. This causes trouble for Tommy, as his job is maintaining a stable relationship between the landowners and his oil company.
