The trials at the Witches' Road have come to an end with the two-part finale of Agatha All Along on Disney+. From Agatha's con gone wrong to Billy Maximoff aka Wiccan's powers, the last episode titled Maiden Mother Crone had intriguing revelations about their journey.

The finale revealed that Billy Maximoff is the one who unknowingly created The Witches' Road which Agatha Harkness was willing to cross for her benefits. The titular witch was connecting with different sorceresses to create her own coven, but thanks to Billy, whose involvement ruined her plan.

One of the most unexpected moments of Agatha All Along finale was Agatha sacrificing herself for Billy, which she later labeled as a "calculated risk" when transformed into a ghost. Billy asks Agatha's ghost if he is the sole creator of The Witches' Road, to which Agatha replies: "Unlike your mother... you actually did something interesting with your power" confirming that he's indeed powerful.

The mini-series has been well-received by fans who are now curious about another chapter of the witch's journey. As of now, there's no confirmation that there will be an Agatha All Along Season 2, but considering the finale, there is a possibility. Read below to know how.

The two-part finale of Agatha All Along didn't just reveal Agatha Harkness' sacrifice for Wanda Maximoff's son Billy, but also featured her past with her son Nicholas Scratch. The series has gained a strong fanbase and is performing well on Disney+.

However, Disney hasn't greenlit Agatha All Along for a second season, and was initially promoted as a limited series. This means the creators planned to conclude the entire story in nine episodes, instead of stretching the narrative with more seasons.

Additionally, Marvel follows the trend of crafting individual stories which can be seen in series like WandaVision, Hawkeye, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Similar to Agatha All Along, these shows were also praised by enthusiasts and received positive reviews, but were never renewed for a second chapter. The only exception to this trend is Tom Hiddleston's Loki on Disney+.

Creator Jac Schaeffer, who also contributed to WandaVision, explained how she enjoys crafting individual stories rather than expanding them in multiple seasons. Schaeffer said:

"I think a lot of people talk about, in a TV show, [they] can spend so much more time with these characters, but that’s not the thrill for me..."

She added:

"It’s also why I haven’t yet made a multi-season show, because I throw everything into that season. I’m like this. These are all my tricks. You get them all in this limited series."

The creator always aims to craft a complete story for one season which makes it easier for fans to explore the entire narrative without waiting for long.

Though Kathryn Hahn's show might not have a second season, it can lead to other Marvel shows just like WandaVision opened doors for Doctor Strange 2.

Though not confirmed, there's still a slight possibility for Agatha All Along Season 2, or at least a spinoff shifting the focus from Agatha Harkness. In the closing scenes of the finale, when Billy fails to send back Agatha, he creates a hex on the floor and labels it with the three witches' names: Sharon Davis, Alice Wu-Gulliver, and Lilia Calderu.

As Agatha says, "When one door closes", Billy replies "Another opens" and creates a staircase up into the white light. And Agatha says, "Let's go find Tommy", which hints at Tommy's arrival in future MCU projects.

The character is also believed to be making his debut in the upcoming Vision series, which will focus on Wanda's husband. Additionally, Rio Vidal is still around, and a potential season 2 can also bring her back.
