The episode marks the final installment of the season. A third season has not yet been announced by CBC or The CW as of now.
For streaming, the upcoming episode will be available on The CW app and website a day after its television premiere, i.e., on Thursday, May 1. Viewers can enjoy the show for free on the app and website.
What to expect from Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 13?
In the episode, titled 'Sunrise Sunset,' Cole Ellis is determined to bring his brother’s killers to justice. He will have to go against a criminal lord who is responsible for Daniel’s death. Meanwhile, the detectives will discover that somebody from their office is acting like a mole and leaking information.
They will have to trace the mole before time runs out and their lives get in danger. Being the finale, the episode might also showcase some developments in Max and Ellis’ relationship.
It remains to be seen if the creators choose to end the episode on a cliffhanger that sets up a potential third season or give it a fitting ending to conclude the storyline. The official logline for the episode reads:
“Ellis makes a shocking discovery about the criminal kingpin responsible for Daniel's death, and who is protecting him; Max, George, and Ricky try to solve the cryptic clues hidden in Ashford's office.”
In the previous episode, Ellis and Max went to a jazz club on an undercover mission to seek clues about Daniel’s murder. On the other hand, George reflected on his life and crimes as he sought parole from prison.
