What can you expect from Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 1?
One of the most interesting things about Wild Cards is that an iconic show or film inspires every episode. For instance, the very premise of the show where a cop and a conwoman team up in an unlikely group has taken its inspiration from the very popular 1982 film named 48 Hours, where Nick Nolte’s renegade cop, teamed up with Eddie Murphy, who played the role of a robber.
The same holds for the first episode of Wild Cards Season 2, as mentioned by Michael Konyves, the creator and showrunner,
"Our first episode [from Season 2], is our Fast and Furious episode where we go into the world of illegal street racing."
As reported by CBC, the first episode synopsis goes like this,
“When a getaway driver is killed in a high-speed chase linked to a string of recent robberies, Max and Ellis go undercover as a street-racing team where they meet a young couple dealing with a very real family situation. High stakes, fast chases and racing robberies round out a thrilling episode where Max gets to drive a badass fast car!”
This promises an exciting storyline with a lot of adrenaline rush. Given that Fast and Furious is the inspiration, viewers can expect an edge-of-the-seat experience while watching it.
