As Superman & Lois concludes Season 4, fans will bid goodbye to Michael Cudlitz's Lex Luthor's trusted ally and partner, Yvonne Chapman's Amanda McCoy.
Season 4 of this Superhero show follows Luthor's vendetta against the Kent family, who wants to destroy their happy abode in Smallville. While Amanda McCoy hesitates to team up with Lex in the initial episodes, she becomes her right-hand woman and the main advisor as the show progresses.
Little is known about her past in the show, but she is a very intelligent and smart woman, the only person close to Lex who he truly respects and thinks of as his equal.
As Superman & Lois progressed, their professional relationship also changed into something more personal and the latest episode confirmed that the two share mutual romantic feelings for one another.

Amanda McCoy handled Lex Luthor's business while he was in prison in Superman & Lois
Amanda is a smart woman who managed Lex's company, LuthorCorp, while he was in jail. Not only did she manage it, but she also elevated the company to new heights.
However, once Lex came out of jail, his vendetta against Clark Kent blinded him, and Amanda helped him with that, too.
According to Chapman, her character is very similar to Lex, and she believes that their similar perspectives are due to their similar upbringings as kids. Lex considers her as his equal and even takes advice from her on professional matters.

Lex could see the darkness inside this very intelligent woman, and for the first time in her life, Amanda found a person who understood her. She then decides to help Lex in his vendetta and even plans to change the narrative in favor of him in the latest episode of Superman & Lois.

The latest episode of the show saw a shift in the dynamics between the couple. Amanda seemed to have the upper hand over Lex. She arranged for Lex to have a live TV interview with a journalist.
Lex's discomfort is visible with the large crew of people inhabiting the personal space in his house. He is about to stop them when Amanda stops him, and it is probably one of the rarest moments for Lex when somebody tells him what to do (and not the other way around).
While Amanda maintains her professionalism and shows her love and care towards Lex, he reciprocates by kissing her. This moment is a crucial defining point in their relationship in Superman & Lois.
Since the show is about to conclude with its fourth and final season, Chapman reminisces about her time working as Amanda on the show alongside her co-star, Michael.
She also discussed how she believes Amanda and Lois are two different sides of the same coin, as both are powerful and intelligent women who want to protect their families.
