Tulsa King Season 2 Episode 7 was a turning point for the series and for Sylvester Stallone's mob boss, Dwight Manfredi.
Episode 7 saw Tyson set up a gang war after he attacked Bill Bevilaqua recklessly despite Dwight telling him not to. Tyson's actions were not only reckless but also overruled a direct order from his mob boss, which would have earned him a bullet in his head with another mob group.
But Dwight forgives Tyson easily, despite setting a potential gang war for the gangster, because he is not a ruthless gangster like other bosses and treats his people like his family.
Dwight's forgiveness gave his character another layer, and the audience was able to see him outside of his mob boss persona. He knows Tyson and his family, and he chooses to forgive him because he is part of his family, too.

Tyson started a chain reaction by attacking Bill Bevilaqua in Tulsa King Season 2 Episode 7
While Tyson has been a devoted follower of Dwight throughout Tulsa King, his family's abandonment and zeal to prove himself to them provoked him to take a major step in Episode 7, outruling even Dwight's orders.
Since they found a bomb in General's navigator, which caused the blast, Tyson was harboring doubt in his mind that Bill Bevilaqua was responsible for it and was adamant about taking revenge against him.
While Dwight tried to talk him out of it, that doing anything against Bill without hard evidence would lead to a violent chain reaction and start a gang war, Tyson was adamant about taking revenge and proving himself.
After his mother calls him a 'two-bit gangster,' his need to prove himself and do something on his own grows and he buys a car and drives to Kansas City to see Bill in Tulsa King Season 2 Episode 7.
He sees one of Bill's associates there, who tries to stop him, but he opens fire and kills him, thus attacking Bill and starting a gang war for Dwight. This small and reckless action changed the course for Dwight, who did not want to go down a violent path but had to because of Tyson's actions.
Dwight forgiving Tyson in Tulsa King proves that he is not a ruthless gangster
Tyson's action was unjustified in Tulsa King Season 7, creating a gang war-like situation for Dwight, which would have earned him a bullet if he was under any other mob boss. But Dwight is unlike any other gangster, and he forgives Tyson, saying that he is a part of his family and that Dwight will always look after him.
This was one of the differentiating moments for Dwight's character in Tulsa King, which set him apart from other gangsters, who would not have tolerated one of them betraying the mob boss. But Dwight actually thinks of his mob as his family and believes in forgiveness.

This also contrasts with the Invernizzi family, who thought of Dwight as one of their hands for doing their dirty work. They didn't hesitate a moment to send a hitman for Dwight, in fear that he would rat them out. But Dwight is different, and he proves this by forgiving Tyson.
