Netflix's Love is Blind: Argentina Season 1's fifth episode aired on November 13, 2024. The latest segment aired on the platform offered four new episode releases. The fifth episode, Trouble in Paradise, saw participants getting to know their partners. While doing that, several couples found issues they worked on and tried to solve.
The fifth episode of Love is Blind: Argentina also featured engaged couples spending time with their fellow participants to see how they got along with their partners.
Julieta and Ezequiel had a double date with fellow engaged couple Eva and Roberto. At the same time, the three couples, Mauricio-María Emilia, Tom-Florfi, and Santiago-Emily, spent time together at a lagoon discussing various things, such as marriage and commitment.
"The vibe got a little tense. Emily just made a joke, and Eva took it a little personally, so that wasn't great. It got awkward," shared Santiago.
Love is Blind: Argentina - What happened between Santiago, Emily, and Eva?
Later that day, on Love is Blind: Argentina, all engaged couples met in the evening before advancing to the next phase of the social experiment.
"This is our last evening here. We're here with the whole group, we're enjoying some drinks, we're going to try out a few new cocktails. Really fun," shared Florfi.
One of the female cast members of Love is Blind: Argentina, Eva, suggested a game called Never Have I Ever, which they later enjoyed. She told everyone to get a "full glass" to play the game, as it involved drinking.
She then announced, "No one could lie," while approaching the first player, Santiago. After him, fellow players who picked up questions were María Emilia, Eva, Roberto, and others.
Everyone enjoyed the game as they progressed, and various participants shared their experiences.
Later that evening, one of the male participants, Santiago, was sitting with his connection Emily. He shared with Eva, with whom he had been on a few blind dates,
"When we were talking in the pods, I feel like we had a lot in common."
Listening to him, Eva agreed as they had talked over various things during their blind dates in the social experiment's first phase.
While Santiago and Eva were having a casual conversation, Emily jumped in and asked Eva,
"Do you like my husband? You want him for a bit?"
While Santiago and Eva both seemed surprised by this coming from Emily, Eva said, “No,” while Santiago told Eva not to mind Emily because,
"She's so feisty."
Eva replied,
"I mean, hey, I'm feisty too. I'll be straight with you. I don't like your husband. We just get along well."
In turn, Emily mentioned that she was "just joking." Later, in his private confession, Santiago mentioned that Emily was a "feisty" woman.
"Emily is a pretty feisty woman, and her sense of humor, or the comments she makes, might not sit well with people who take things literally."
After the incident, Eva went to Julieta, a fellow female participant and her friend, and told her about the incident with Emily and how she asked if she liked Santiago. Julieta asked about her answer, and Eva said Santiago just stared at her.
"I said, "Santi, did you tell her what we said in the pods?""
Love is Blind: Argentina star Julieta confirmed whether Santiago was there, as she asked, "In front of him?" Eva said yes.
Seeing how things might appear as funny as she had thought, Emily later confessed that she was genuinely "just kidding." She added that Santiago knew she was just "messing" with Eva, and she knew that Eva didn't like Santiago.
"She (Emily) may have thought that I was going to start arguing with her or something, but I'd never start a fight over someone, certainly not over a man. I mean, I'd never do that," confessed Eva.
Eva confessed that despite being insecure, she was not the "one in the middle."
