Shark Tank's investor Lori Greiner got into an intense heated argument with Mark Cuban, Kevin O'Leary, and Robert Herjavec, making these three men walk out of the set in fury in 2015. During Season 6 of this business reality TV series, Christopher Gray brought his Scholarship Database Company called Scholly and asked for $40,000 for 15% equity.

Gray's pitch had all the sharks on the panel interested which included Daymond John, Mark Cuban, Robert Herjavec, Lori Greiner, and Kevin O'Leary. However, even before Gray could finish his whole pitch, Greiner offered him a deal after 10 minutes, which she revealed to Business Insider during an interview in 2015. She told Gray, offering him the exact deal he asked:

"You know what, Christopher?” Greiner says. “I’m going to do something I’ve never done before. I haven’t heard a whole lot, but I’m going to make you an offer right now.”

However, Lori Greiner's fierce move did not sit well with other investors, especially Mark Cuban, who suggested that she could wait till they could ask some necessary questions related to the business venture. Daymond John and Robert Herjavec, who resonated with Gray's story of not being able to attend university because of financial issues, wanted to invest, too.

"I hated when people wanted to give me a break"- Robert Herjavec takes a dig at Lori Greiner as she steals a Shark Tank deal

Lori Greiner snatched a deal like a true shark in one of the episodes of Season 6 of Shark Tank when she blocked all the other investors and persuaded Christopher Gray to seal a deal with her. Scholly was featured in the show, and it was an app-based scholarship program for students who had high grades and could not afford the tuition fee of Universities just like the founder, Christopher Gray.

The smartphone app was designed to match suitable scholarships with the students according to their requirements. This proposal impressed all the Shark Tank investors but Greiner jumped right into it before any other shark to propose a deal. Daymond John was smart enough to rope in with her, calling it "personal" because he missed college because of his financial condition.

However, Greiner's aggressive move made Cuban, Herjavec, and O'Leary angry and although Gray accepted Greiner and John's deal, the sharks were flustered with the whole situation. Robert Herjavec congratulated Christopher Gray for cracking a deal but believed that both the sharks, Greiner and John would not be able to help him in a "Tech-based" venture.

Herjavec also took an indirect dig at Lori Greiner for simply investing because she "felt bad" for the founder. He said:

"You know, when I had nothing and couldn’t rub two pennies together, you know what I really hated?” he asks. “I hated when people wanted to give me a break because they felt bad for me.”

However, Lori Greiner made it clear that she did not do it out of "pity" and said:

"Sometimes it’s about helping America and making the world a better place.”

Shark Tank's Greiner also claimed that the sharks were angry because they did not get the chance to crack a deal with Christopher Gray.

Shark Tank Season 16 airs on ABC.
