Apple TV+ See is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi drama set in a future where humanity has lost the ability to see due to some mysterious events. Now, humanity relies on heightened senses, and the entire society is shaped by this blindness. The show follows the life of Baba Voss (played by Jason Momoa), a warrior who is determined to protect his tribe in this dangerous world.
Conflict arises when a set of twins is born with the ability to see which threatens the current establishment. In Season 3, Baba Voss fought his last battle to save humanity as Apple TV+ announced that there wouldn't be a season 4.

Why was See canceled after Season 3?
See was canceled after season 3 because Apple TV+ decided that it would be the best time to wrap up the show. The showrunners think that they can come up with a satisfying ending and effectively wrap up the narrative in season 3. Even Jason and the team ensured that they wanted a satisfactory conclusion rather than leaving the show abruptly, or with a poorly executed ending.
Secondly, some of the reason was also related to the high production cost and viewership numbers. Even though the first two seasons attracted a lot of viewership, it had some lukewarm response in comparison to the kind of production value that was put in to create the kind of world in See.
In addition, the creators of the show since the start intended it to keep it a three-season series only and had planned the arc accordingly.
"We are thrilled to share this epic final chapter of See, which delivers all the intense drama, riveting action and heartfelt emotion fans have come to expect, as well as what we think is a deeply satisfying conclusion to our story," showrunner and executive producer, Jonathan Tropper, said.
"Building a world without sight was a particularly unique and continuous challenge that was met through the passionate and thoughtful collaboration of a phenomenally talented and diverse team both in front of and behind the camera," he added.
Tropper had posted on Instagram back in November 2021 that the cast and crew of See had "shot our last shot."
Therefore, it seems that the decision to wrap up the show is a mixture of creative direction and practical considerations.
How the Season 3 of See end?
In Season 3, a year has passed, and Voss has defeated Edo, his nemesis brother. Trivantian scientists develop a new devastating form of sighted weaponry which poses a threat to humanity, and Baba Voss returns to Paya to protect his tribe.
Baba Voss sacrifices himself to save his family and defeat all of their enemies. After Voss' death, one of the twin sons who can see decides to go blind and take the throne to connect to his people. The other set out to explore the world and encounters the New York Public Library where all the sighted people have gathered, signaling hope for a future where sight is restored.
