Why did Love Is Blind Habibi star Chafiq and Dounia visit Qaroun?

Love Is Blind Habibi stars Dounia and Chafiq found their dream partners in each other and decided to get engaged in the pods. The couple had a delightful first meeting and acknowledged making the right choice. As the pods' journey ended for the couple, the two joined the other engaged couples for a vacation, organized by the show in Dubai.

The vacation allowed the couple to open up to each other, share vulnerabilities, and build trust. The couple faced a small blip when Simo informed Dounia, that Noor and Chafiq knew each other before the show. However, Dounia chose to trust Chafiq and his intentions. Subsequently, they took the real plunge by introducing each other to the families.

In episode 6 of Love Is Blind Habibi, Chafiq met Dounia's mother and made a fine impression on her. It was then time for Dounia to get introduced to Chafiq's world. The couple met Chafiq's parents in Lebanon. After getting their approval, the couple decided to visit Chafiq's grandparents in Qaroun. In episode 7, the couple traveled to Qaround and Chafiq made Dounia acquainted with his grandparents.


How did Chafiq's grandparents react after meeting Dounia in Love Is Blind Habibi?

After having an easy-breezy vacation at a wonderful resort, Love Is Blind Habibi couples were set to hit the real world which consisted of their families, loved ones, their routine lives, and their careers. Meeting families and getting their approval was one of the major steps that brought the couples closer to tying the knot. Dounia and Chafiq ventured into that new phase with nervousness, hope, and love.

After getting a warm welcome from Dounia's mother, it was time for Chafiq to let Dounia into her family. Chafiq's parents liked Dounia instantly and acknowledged that she was everything they would have wished for in Chafiq's life partner. Chafiq's mother said:

"I liked her a lot. She is educated, beautiful, and well-raised. I was comfortable right away."

Chafiq's father on the other hand insisted that Chafiq get closer to Dounia and know her better as they were just 10 days away from the wedding. After a fruitful meeting with Chafiq's parents, the couple headed to Qaroun, to meet Chafiq's grandparents. Love Is Blind Habibi couple took a 40-minute ride, and Chafiq looked a bit stressed but Dounia was all excited and cheerful.

Dounia also mentioned that she felt envious of him for having spent his childhood in such a beautiful place. The couple reached the destination and greeted the grandparents politely and respectfully. Chafiq's grandparents looked happy to meet Dounia. Chafiq mentioned that he connected with Dounia because of her family values, and how close she was to her mother.

When he asked his grandfather for his opinion, he replied:

"No one should interfere in this matter. It is all about harmony and respect."

Dounia and Chafiq's grandmother shared a brief discussion on love and compassion, and both seemed to agree on the same thought. She also expressed that they both were stubborn and she felt confused when neither would back down in situations. She was advised by Chafiq's grandfather to let Chafiq be himself and focus on resolving the issue.

Dounia and Chafiq's grandmother spent some quality time talking about Chafiq's childhood, and his nature. Before the couple left, it appeared certain that it was a fruitful meeting. Chafiq's grandparents told the cameras:

"She seems to be like a sweet girl and kind-hearted. I don't know, I really like, Really. We really like the girl. We wish chafiq and her the very best. Anyway, we leave it all to god."

The couple got their blessings and bid goodbye. Dounia and Chafiq walked the altar in the finale of Love Is Blind Habibi, but did not tie the knot, as they wanted more time before they settled down.
