Since the release of Severance Season 2, fans cannot stop talking about Britt Lower's roles as Helly R. and Helena Eagan as they speculate if the CEO's daughter has taken over Helly. While the show didn't reveal if this is true, viewers are also curious about Helena sounding different.

From Mark's sprint in the opening scene to the employees discovering that nothing changed despite their protest in Season 1, Severance Season 2 continues to stir intrigue among viewers. The latest episode saw Helena covering up Helly's claim about severed employees being mistreated and tortured in Lumon.

She filmed a video explaining that she made such claims due to excessive alcohol and ongoing rash treatment. Since Helena is trying hard to prove herself to become the next CEO of her father's company, she feels the need to fix the damage after the Lumon gala.

Helena does sound different in Season 2, and this is because she's also severed like the employees, and it was Helly R who tried to expose Lumon. Like every severed individual at Lumon, Helena's Innie is different from her Outie, resulting in a shift in her voice and behavior.

The controversial procedure of separating an individual's consciousness into Innie and Outie at Lumon isn't just for the employees. Turns out that the CEO James Eagen's daughter Helena also went through the procedure, which is why she sounds different to many viewers in Severance Season 2.

Unlike most of the parents, Helena's dad is doubtful of her potential to take on the position. As seen at the beginning of Episode 2, James Eagen calls his daughter "Fetid moppet" and leaves without hearing any explanation from Helena.

However, this doesn't stop her from thriving to become the next CEO of Lumon. After Helly's outburst and claims about the controversial procedure, Helena tried to brush it off by explaining that she wasn't sober and was under medication.

While she might have succeeded in preventing Helly's outburst from resulting in another protest, the public isn't unaware of the procedure. The procedure is highly disliked, and a served individual taking on the position of a CEO wouldn't sit well with many.

Helena's situation seems to have worsened in Severance Season 2, but this is just the beginning of the show.

While the Severance Season 2 premiere followed the Innies, Episode 2, "Goodbye, Mrs. Selvig," delves into the lives of the Outies. As the episodes continue, it is revealed that no one outside Lumon knows about the “Overtime Contingency” (a secret from Season 1), and there has been no damage to the company's reputation.

Thanks to Helena Eagen, who cleverly managed to handle the situation through a video. Helena lies that it was a prank announcement at the gala, which was due to mixing alcohol with a prescription drug.

The episode also features Mr. Milchick visiting Dylan and Irving at their homes and firing them without a clear reason. However, when it came to Mark, Mr. Milchick gave him special treatment and encouraged him to return to Lumon.

He mentioned Mark's late wife, Gemma, during their conversation and was able to bring him back. Not only this, but Mark is also offered a raise, which is crucial for the mysterious "Cold Harbor" project.

Later in the episode, Mark throws a fit about the unfairness of the situation, leading Lumon to rehire Dylan Irving and even Helly R. Although it’s unclear whether it’s truly Helly or her Outie who's returning. This is due to the lie Helly told in the previous episode, resulting in theories about Helena trying to pose as Helly.

Helena is also seen watching security footage of Helly and Mark’s interactions as if she's desperate to know about their relationship dynamics. Helena Eagen seems to have liked Helly and Mark's relationship, as she doesn't get time to get romantically involved with anyone.
