Tulsa King Season 2 ended, but troubles are not leaving Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) anytime soon.

After facing enemies from all three directions- Tulsa, Kansas City, and New York and dealing with his problems with Tina, Season 2 has been a bumpy ride for the General who wants to leave his criminal past behind and start afresh.

Cal Thresher has been one of Dwight's primary enemies this season, but he let him live in the finale. This is because Cal is a powerful businessman, and killing him would put Dwight back into the criminal life he wants to escape.

Dwight seems to have started afresh in Tulsa King with his legitimized business. And him letting Cal live proves he genuinely wants to move past his life as a criminal.

More about Tulsa King Season 2 finale in our story.

Dwight's mercy on Cal proves that he is a changed man in Tulsa King Season 2 finale

Cal has been creating problems for Dwight throughout Season 2. From rigging his court trials to attacking the wind farm, he has been nothing short of a menace to him.

Still, at the end of the series, Dwight let him live and instead took control of his massive weed farm. Dwight's action is justified because Cal is a well-known businessman in Oklahoma, and killing him is not safe for him.

Not only it would alert the police, who would be breathing down his neck, but it would also be a threat to his new business. Moreover, Dwight was very clear that he didn't want to leave a trail of bodies behind him like in the past and wanted to change.

His decision to let Cal live is a step forward in his new life.

Was Dwight kidnapped at the end of Tulsa King Season 2? Can he ever escape his past life?

Vince sent Chickie to Dwight to either convince him to join the Invernizzi crime family back or kill him. After he refused to rejoin, Chickie approached Bill Bevilaqua to get Dwight killed.

Instead, Bill killed Chickie in the season finale because he thought Dwight was a safer business partner to deal with, and he would also have 50% of Cal's weed business instead of a quarter now.

While things were looking good for Dwight at the end of Tulsa King Season 2, with Chickie dead and Cal's business under his wing, the final moments of the show saw him getting kidnapped by a secret organization.

He was abducted by a secretive SWAT team in Margaret's house and was told, "You work for us now'' by an unidentified man.

This secretive abduction hints that some illegal government organization wants to use Dwight's skills to execute something sinister.

While he is trying to be a changed man and rewrite his past mistakes, it seems like the criminal world is not leaving him anytime soon. Dwight's efforts to start afresh always lead him into another illegal business, this time possibly onto a national level.

The ending of Tulsa King Season 2 was not all hopeless for Dwight, as his mercy towards Cal proves that he has room for improvement. However, how he will handle this new problem in the Season 2 finale is something the fans have to look forward to in his next adventure.
